    “Karibikurlaub mit Abstrichen”

    Im großen und ganzen war es ein schöner Urlaub auch wenn 2 Wochen vor der Anreise der Beachbereich abgebrannt ist, hat uns an nichts gefehlt...die Hotel Anlage ist sehr weitläufig. Wurde viel Programm und für Unterhaltung gesorgt die Liegen am Strand waren immer verfügbar. Am Pool haben wir keine gebraucht. Das Angebot an Speisen war vielfältig und gut vielfältig, was uns jedoch gestört hat war die Warteschlange Mittags und Abends vor dem Hauptrestaurant. Keine Deutschkäntnisse von dem Personal war zu erwarten aber mit Englisch kann man auch selten weiter. Das Zimmer wurde in den 2 Wochen kein einziges Mal durchgewischt, Die Betten und die Handtücher nicht gewechselt. Das Zimmer war bei dem Bezug nicht richtig sauber gewischt ,Die Cola Flecken an den Schränken wurden bis zum letzten Tag nicht weg gewischt trotz der Bemerkung an der Rezeption.

    The accommodation is advertised as 4 star, how ever the cleanliness in the room was absolutely lacking..... in the 14 days we spent there we had to request on a number of occasions that the sheets were changed. The floors were never swept or mopped and the black mould in the bathroom was thick and matted across the tiles and shower and the drains were constantly blocked and stinking. The beds were then made BUT not changed, on closer inspection the mattress protector cover was covered in brown, yellow and black stains, clearly not changed or washed in a long while. Despite having 3 adults in the room, ONLY TWO towels were left on most occasions, despite requesting a fruther towel from reception on 4 occasions. Majority of staff within the hotel were rude, ignorant or both, especially towards British guests. I could not understand why until the World Cup final where most of the staff wore ARGENTINA shirts and were clearly biased towards Argentinian guests, often allowing Argentinian guests to push into queues and have preferential treatment. Food in the resort was poor, most nights was pork or pork derivatives, the exception being the Italian and Asian A La Carte restaurants where the menu was set. Most mornings, there was NO orange juice available and guests were forced to stand in line just for ice, who would have thought guests may need ice in 35 degree heat??. This hotel is NOT 4 star, nor is it ANYWHERE near 3 star, on speaking to several other European guests, it appears that they had the same issue. I am more than happy to provide pictures to show the extent of the dirt, grime and filth. The rep onsite did provide compensation of £250 as a result, but he did explain that this was not the first complaint and i doubt very much whether it will be the last.
