“Fint rom og flott utsikt”

Anbefaler rom med balkong ut mot sjøen og stranden. 2 Minutter ned til stranden der vannet var deilig og klart. Anbefaler strandsko og liggeunderlag på rullesteins-stranden. Eneste negative vil jeg si var kvaliteten på maten i hotellrestauranten. Hotellfrokosten var også litt vel enkel. Synes ikke det var noe å skryte av, men heldigvis ligger det en fantastisk lokal restaurant like nedenfor hotellet der både service og mat var fantastisk. Vi hadde leiebil, som også gjorde at det var kort vei til gamlebyen i Dubrovnik som bør oppleves. Kan også anbefale en tur til Cavtat som ligger bare en kilometer fra flyplassen.

Friendly, helpful, the shuttle car that was available to take and collect from Dubrovnik was a definite plus . Drawback was that we are vegan, so variety of food was a bit sparse.

Apartment was spotless, we were offered clean linen and towels every day. Because it wasn't peak season, the kitchen wasn't up and running with the full menu, however, Igor whipped us up some great food for the 3 nights we requested.

The hotel could easily improve by providing a coffee machine, an outdoor non smoking area or an area away from guest rooms for smokers, more variety of fruit ( they had apples oranges and bananas - no mixed berries or melon for example - it was very samy). We received clean towels every day but the old towels were not taken away and no instructions were given about what to do with them so we left them outside. Bins were occasionally emptied and the bed were made once. No cleaning was done in the rooms.

Our main problem with the accommodation was the enormous number of steps - over 50! - between the hotel reception, lobby and dining room and our apartment. There was no lift. Our apartment was the lowest one available with a balcony, there were 2 more floors above ours , but the rooms below were less spacious. We both have mobility issues but needed 2 separate bedrooms. Breakfast was very adequate, but we were unimpressed - both by price and content- by the one evening meal we ate; fellow guests who had paid for all evening meals regretted it. The views, bird-life and peace of the location were unrivaled.
