The Vasilias Beach Hotel is spread over three accomodation blocks on a steep gradient leading down to the hotel pool and beach. The gradient is probably a 1in 4 slope. Which makes it rather strenuous to negotiate for the older generation and especially for those with even the slightest of mobility issues. The accommodation itself was clean and well kept. The seaviews were wonderful. Bedding and towels were changed frequently. What little interaction we had with staff was fine. They were polite, helpful and welcoming. The only really major negative point is the physical location of the property. This was compounded by the luggage being transported by luggage truck and being dropped off/ collected from the reception in the middle building of the 3. We were in the top building of the 3, which meant negotiating the steep gradient and a distance of approximately 75 metres with 2 cases.

Only suitable for those in good health and with no mobility issues due to the steep access from the road to the accommodation blocks and from the accommodation blocks to the pool/beach/beach bar/restaurant. We were in an older apartment which could do with further updating. Okay but nothing to write home about

Actual accomodation was very good However i wouldn't recommend it to people with walking disabilities. Although most of the hotels once you're out of Skiathos town are on the side of a mountain of sorts.
