    Fridge in room not working properly. Reception said they knew that the fridges didn't work well, although last year in the same hotel, the fridge in my room worked fine. Maintenance man said that if you put in a cold beer, it will stay cold. It didn't. Shower screen (shower over bath) hopeless, with large gap between screen and bath. Flooded the floor on first shower. Used face cloths provided to plug the gaps thereafter. Shower difficult to access with high sided bath. Bathroom needs a refit. Mealtimes quite chaotic and noisy in the crowded dining room, sometimes difficult to have a conversation at the table without shouting. Coffee machines take ages and only half-fill a small cup. Huge range of food at breakfast and dinner, but much of the food in bain-maries was luke-warm and not hot. No temperature checking observed. Toys (trikes, scooters etc.) in reception potentially dangerous as there is nothing to stop one of the little ones at the top of the stairs.

    Valamar Meteor Hotel in Makarska is in an excellent location. The staff go above and beyond to ensure you have a good stay and the food is amazing quality for a buffet that has to cater for that many people.

    “Väldigt små rum”

    Vi hade 3- bäddsrum och det var väldigt trångt när man hade väskorna uppslagna. Garderoben som fanns var lagom för en person

    “Väldigt fint och fräscht hotell”

    Ett riktigt bra hotell på flera sätt. Stora ytor, massor av möjligheter för barnen. Stora poolen har en cool placering nära promenadstråket och stranden. Möjligen lite väl små och trånga hotellrum. Mycket trevlig personal och grym buffé både morgon och kväll.
