Rating: 9/10 ​We recently stayed at Althea Village (arriving on September 15th), and overall, we had a fantastic experience that left us feeling completely comfortable and well looked after. ​Check-in & Service From the moment we arrived, we were impressed. The reception area is beautiful and smells amazing! We were greeted by extremely friendly staff who showed us to our room across the road. Once we settled in, they took the time to give us a full tour of the property and its amenities, which was a lovely personal touch. The team here keeps the hotel to a very high standard, and their hospitality really makes the place feel warm and homely. ​The Room We stayed in a family room, which was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and very spacious. It featured a sofa, TV, a nice bathroom, and a separate bedroom area. The highlight was having two terraces—one facing the car park and the other opening up toward the pool, which almost felt like our own private pool area! Plus, the beds were unbelievably comfortable. ​Spa & Gym Facilities ​Spa: My partner and I booked a couple’s massage, which was a truly amazing experience and highly recommended! ​Gym: My partner used the gym facilities during our stay and mentioned they were really good for a hotel setup. ​Pools & Entertainment The hotel caters to everyone with its different pool areas—one lively family pool right by the restaurant, and a more relaxing pool areas (which still includes a kids' pool option). ​The animation team was really great and kept things lively. While the evening entertainment was a bit hit-and-miss overall—the Grecian dance evening left a bit to be desired—the African acrobats were absolutely fantastic and a real highlight of our stay! ​Dining & Drinks We ate at the hotel for the majority of our stay. While the main buffet food can occasionally be a little hit-or-miss, there is always plenty of choice, and everything I personally tried was delicious. A special shout-out goes to the snack bar—the gyros served between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM are absolutely fantastic! ​Minor drawbacks: The all-inclusive cocktails could use a bit of improvement, as they tend to be overly sugary. However, there are plenty of paid drink options available if you prefer upgraded cocktails. ​Location & Outings The location is great for exploring. We took a day trip to Chania/Hania and ate out all day, which was wonderful. We also walked just down the road to Dimitris and Sakis for dinner one evening, which was exceptional! ​Verdict With its welcoming atmosphere, top-notch staff, great facilities, and wonderful animation team, we would happily return with the whole family in the years to come. Highly recommended!

TUI SUNEO Althea Village to jedno z tych miejsc, z których wyjeżdża się z poczuciem, że wakacje były dokładnie takie, jak powinny być. Pobyt wśród oliwnych drzew ma w sobie coś wyjątkowego – zieleń, cisza i zapach Krety sprawiają, że człowiek zwalnia, odcina się od codzienności i po prostu zaczyna cieszyć się chwilą. To miejsce pozwoliło mi odpocząć nie tylko fizycznie, ale przede wszystkim psychicznie. Każdy dzień miał tu swój spokojny rytm, a atmosfera sprawiała, że można było naprawdę poczuć się jak na wakacjach. Ogromnym atutem jest również zespół hotelu – zawsze uśmiechnięty, życzliwy i pomocny. Czasem to właśnie ludzie sprawiają, że zwykły pobyt zamienia się w piękne wspomnienie. Wyjeżdżając, pomyślałam: „Szkoda, że to już koniec”. I chyba właśnie to jest najlepsza opinia, jaką można wystawić. 🇬🇷💙

Mooi, proper hotel, vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel, goede locatie om op verkenning te gaan. Meerdere parkeer plaatsen als je met de wagen bent, een bus stop dicht bij het hotel. Eten is goed ook voor mensen met een gluten probleem, voor iedereen is er wel iets en desserts zijn echt goed, dus als je op je lijn let, let op! Activiteiten door de dag en elke avond is er ook nog entertainment. Alles is goed onderhouden, zelf de publieke WC. Als ik me niet vergis is er 1 tijdzone van 1 uur, 18,00 tot 19,00 dat er geen eten aanwezig is maar er zijn dan wel nog 2 soorten koekjes die je kan nemen. Voor families en ouderen is dit een heel goed hotel, zeker een aanrader voor je volgende vakantie in Chania Kreta
