    “Perfekter Familienurlaub”

    Wir hatten 10 wunderschöne Tage im Hotel TUI Blue Manar. Das Hotel ist sehr weitläufig es wird in allen Bereichen sehr auf Sauberkeit geachtet. Das Personal ist durchwegs freundlich und zuvorkommend. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das gesamte Animationsteam. Das gesamte Team verbreitet eine sehr gute Stimmung ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Die Kinder fühlten sich sehr wohl, auch für Erwachsene ist immer etwas los auch die Abendunterhaltung ist sehr professionell. Vor allem Madi, Syno und Chicko waren die Lieblinge unserer Kinder. Das Essen ist von guter Qualität und immer für jeden etwas dabei. Wir können das Hotel sehr empfehlen und würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

    We recently returned from a week’s stay at TUI Blue Manar, we were a group of 14 aged 3 - 72. We had a fantastic holiday, and wish we had booked it for longer! Hotel The hotel was lovely, it is split into 2 buildings, a big welcoming reception area on arrival in Manar 1 where the restaurant also is, we stayed in Manar 2 which perhaps was slightly older but the views from the sea view family room were stunning and the room was large, clean and had plenty of storage. The grounds are lovely, lots of green areas which made for pleasant walks between spaces. There are plenty of housekeeping staff, gardeners and maintenance around the hotel ensuring things are tidied up and cleaned. Pools The kids had a fab time in the slides pool, we enjoyed the relax pool whilst the kids were in kids club which was a heavenly couple of hours! The activity pool was great, plenty to get involved in if you wanted to, and the kids pool was perfect for the little ones. The temperatures in all of them were fine, not the initial cold feeling you sometimes get when getting in a pool! The lifeguards were brilliant, constantly on the ball especially throughout the fabulous foam party. One in particular helped us on a few occasions when we had small injuries - very well spoken English! Food & drink The main restaurant was large and busy but somehow we always managed to find a table, a few times with thanks to Fedi who was genuinely one of the most attentive waiters we’ve come across on holidays. He made sure we had new drinks in front of us before we even asked for them let alone finished our current ones! We did tip him, but the service he gave us was exactly the same even before the tips (hence the tips!). The food was generally ok, there was always something someone liked which for a group of 14 is not that easy! It wasn’t great, and could be repetitive but again we were fine with it - we eat the same foods on repeat at home so being on holiday didn’t need to be different for us - it would have just been nice for there to be a bit more options. Salad bar was yummy, and the pancakes at breakfast were a huge hit! We went to the a’la carte restaurant one evening, that was a lovely change from the buffet and very filling! We didn’t eat at the snack restaurant but did go for coffee and cake which was a lovely afternoon treat. The sandwich corner filled a hole when the kids got hungry in between lunch and tea. It would have been nice to have more on offer in terms of snacks, especially ice cream rather than just the hour it was served outside of the buffet times but saying that we didn’t go hungry! The guys at the pool bar were fab, they were always very busy yet handled it like pros! The barman at the family bar in Manar 2 was also great, always remembering our order. If there was air con in the family bar we would have spent longer there before going for dinner but it was just too hot, so we tended to get a drink to walk to the main restaurant with and also get drinks to have in the room whilst getting ready for dinner. Entertainment This is where the hotel really shines, without it I would give a 3 / 4 star based on comparisons to other hotels I’ve stayed in, but the entertainment team easily earns 5 stars. We downloaded the Blue app before the holiday so we had an idea of what was happening each day and night, and whilst I had no concerns for activities for our younger children (age 3-9), I was a little concerned my 14 year old would be bored. I did not need to worry!! The entertainment team really did a fantastic job of making him feel included without being pushy, they were the highlight of his holiday - mainly Chiko, Bibo, Madi and Chris for him. He loved the water polo, beach volleyball, and foam party and even got up to dance with them! Ghofy and Syno were brilliant, so energetic and friendly, they gave us a few laughs throughout the holiday! The whole team just want people to enjoy their holiday, I didn’t want to take part in something and they got that I just wanted to relax, there was no pushiness! Bibo was great, especially with my 14 year old and also my 9 year old nephew, he really made a positive impact on them and the fact he took time on his day off to chat with us and take photos shows what a great guy he is! The younger kids enjoyed the kids club, plenty of different activities to get involved with and the staff there were excellent with them. We all enjoyed the evening entertainment, the kids loved the mini disco, karaoke was so much more fun than we were expecting, bingo was a good laugh but super fast (thanks Chiko for helping us, even if you did think people were sabotaging it!!), the Brazilian dancers were fantastic and it was great to see them perform at the foam party and beach party too! Overall An absolutely fantastic holiday, quite easily one of the best family holidays we’ve had - which I believe is down to what we made of our time there plus the entertainment team. Don’t get caught up on negative reviews - you’re on holiday, so smile, relax, have fun, eat the tasty food, have a drink if you wish, and enjoy the company you’re with - if you do that you can’t not enjoy yourself! Tips A few tips for your holiday, take flasks for drinks throughout the day, the cold water bottles don’t stay cold for long in the sun. The barmen are happy to fill them for you. The entertainment team don’t work Mondays, so if you leave on a Monday make sure you say bye to them on the Sunday! The beach party gets HOT, wear suitable clothing! Download the Blue app to check out entertainment, but check it daily as there are sometimes changes. Go to the foam party - it is SO fun!

    Lovely hotel with friendly staff. I know good and bad feedback is always good. The flooring around the pool area was very aggressive to foot, I know its a balance between costs, tiles not getting hot and looks. The Blue slide 2nd from the left also was not comfortable to ride. the joins of the sections were very prominent and hurt our back.
