    Recommended

    The hotel was a little tired and definitely in need of some upgrading around the pool and the rooms. Some of the rooms really shouldn't be sold and maintenance is definitely needed on some. Also the cleanliness in some needs attention in some areas.

    The hotel and staff were excellent . However the food was a bit repetitive and on a number of occasions certain items were not available and weren’t replenished very quickly

    The staff working in the hotel were quite possibly some of the rudest stuff I've ever come across and having stayed in reuse many times before think I have a fairly good comparison. There was an expectation from waiters throughout the entire holiday to be tipped I'm happy to take by tip while I receive a service not so that I get a service. We were never offered drinks at the pearl we were never a brought coffee or tea in the morning our fridge remained unstocked in our room all very frustrating and had the staff engaged then we would have tipped however I'm not prepared to tip when somebody hasn't even approached us. We were in room 311 which I have to say was very noisy in terms of the nightclub underneath however we were fine with it I know a lot of people weren't and I have to be moved but we were okay and actually probably would stay in that room again. My only comment regarding the room was a dreadful smell in the drains when the shower was turned on this was raised with reception but nothing could be doing I imagine. The hotel itself is beautiful one of the best hotels I've ever been to and we've got absolutely be back Tom the TUI rep was fabulous really really helpful
