Tipp

The hotel grounds are beautiful and the staff work hard to keep them clean and attractive. Never any trouble getting a lounger, lots of space by the pool. Bar area was inviting with great entertainment. Did not use the pool bar but this was also very inviting. So glad we weren't at the hotel next door with their hokey cokey style programme of entertainment. Sophie was much more refined. Some restaurant staff were a little inexperienced - e.g. made several mistakes with the drinks bill. Happy/easy to rectify but happened several times. Our room was spacious, well appointed and comfortable. Cleaning was always timely and efficient. Perhaps the hotel could address the sulphurous smell coming from the drains for the first minute of running the shower? Not sure what it was.

I've never experienced a check in at a hotel like this. The lady who checked us in was an absolute delight!!! She had a very genuine happy and welcoming smile - not at all forced, which you often experience. Absolutely first class hotel and couldn't pick any faults with any of it.

Immaculate standard of cleanliness. Beautiful pool and beach. Wonderfully warm and helpful staff. Quiet and relaxing, no stress at all regarding getting a sun bed and lots of space between sunbeds. Breakfast and lunch excellent. More variety of evening dining options would be appreciated, the buffet got tired after 7 nights and didn't mirror the elevated feel of the rest of the hotel offerings. The main dining area isn't atmospheric or special enough, evening meals weren't something to look forward to. I think at least 1 or 2 more al a carte style offerings would elevate the overall experience. The silly FB offering of 300 mls of beer per meal time seemed petty, we found it irritating and miserly! We feel offering customers a choice of their permitted drinks allowance would work better. For example, at each meal neither myself or my husband had the 2 soft drinks or tea/coffee allowed. Perhaps offering a second beer if the soft drinks/tea/coffee isn't taken. Also, why offer only a bottle of red wine in the room on arrival. We don't drink red wine, a choice of red, white or rose would be fairer. If we returned we wouldn't pay the supplement for FB, it's too limited. We would most likely eat out several times in the evening as the buffet just wasn't a special enough experience.

By far the staff at the hotel we stayed at were the friendliest we have ever come across.
