    We were beyond disappointed with our holiday. There was no taxi on arrival nor rep at the airport. We had to find a taxi ourselves. I raised that there was an awful smell from under the sink unit in the kitchenette and the toilet on 4th August and nothing was done about it. Hygiene in our room was substandard and one would feel it was third world as opposed to the 4 star TUI rating. One bed wasn’t dressed one of the days. Floor barely cleaned as we found dirt here upon arrival. Sink area nor shower cleaned any day. The air conditioning unit was weak. There were a lot of stains and marks on the floor on arrival. Some furniture needs replacing or maintenance. There is staining in the bedroom and living room come kitchenette which appears to be from water ingress. The apartment was full of spiders. Balcony wasn’t cleaned sufficiently. Mirror in living room area was falling apart which was a health and safety issue for our children. Walls were dirty. There were cobwebs and spiders on arrival and never cleaned. Most of the staff were abrupt and we didn’t find it to be family friendly. We asked for hand towels from the cleaner one day and through no fault of his, there were no hand towels available. We expected a higher standard for TUI. We have got sick during our stay and our daughter is currently in hospital. We did not get a holiday with TUI, we got a health crisis through the lack of hygiene in TUIs hotel. The reps were stating why didn’t we say it but we did. Also, for a TUI hotel it should be of the standard. The reps said they were aware that hygiene wasn’t up to standard yet nothing done. we don’t trust TUIs standard anymore. Then on departure there was an issue again with the taxi and the reps did nothing. A head tui person came out and he was abrupt. They didn’t have the correct interpersonal skills to wait and assist us. It is the fault of TUI that our child is currently in hospital and that both my husband and I were sick also. I flagged that I felt it was the water from the machine which were informed was safe to drink but it’s the only thing 3 of us had in common to get sick. We gave our son bottled water. Then one rep tried to convince us that it was the sand which illustrated even more that they knew TUI was responsible.

    We approached the TUI rep to ask for help to upgrade our coach transfer back to the airport. We approached her because there was an error when trying to do so online. The rep was very unhelpful, I got the impression all she wanted to do was get rid of us as fast as possible. In the end we booked a taxi through the hotel reception who were excellent.

    We were really happy with the accommodation. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing family holiday. The rooms were well maintained, the facilities were great and the overall setting was lovely. We particularly enjoyed having the space to relax as a family after busy days out and around the pool. The accommodation really helped make the holiday feel comfortable and enjoyable, and we would be very happy to stay there again.

    Aircon was poor and wouldn’t go below 22 and as didn’t stay on when leaving was hot on return. Bed room was very hot aircon didn’t reach so ment sleeping was tricky
