    this is a reply to the hotel manager following my original feedback to Hilton Hotels Dear Mr Vamvoukasis Thanks, you for your reply. Firstly, yes, we did have a conversation with Guest relations, which was on the first day whereupon I informed them of the shower issue. That was it, no further contact. I also said to your receptionist when asked at checkout, \"was everything ok with your stay\"?, that no it wasn't. I also said we didn't want to go into details or make a fuss. Let's be clear on the Adult only aspect. Not once did we say it was an Adult only resort. We did say that TUI (our tour operator) does not state that it is so much a children/ babies resort and that the two main pools are free for them to use, and I have explained the noise and hygiene issues with that previously. We did go to the so called Adult only pool and as there were no sun beds, bar restaurant facilities so it was useless. We also went to the children's area to see how many were in the pool and using the slides, absolutely no-one. We did book a room with a pool which as we stated was very nice, however as the whole of the hotel is North facing it actually doesn't get the sun so we couldn't enjoy our time there either. Your comment on the low review being based primarily on the fact that we thought it was adult only is a complete misconception by you. The actual functionality of the hotel was dictated by the children, that's our issue:- Too noisy, food on the floor, queues to get in the funicular due to children's buggies taking all the room, breast feeding in public spaces. No real social area such as the bar, which has no draught beer incidentally, food at breakfast always cold for some inexplicable reason. We didn't eat in the restaurant after the first night where the food was appalling and the volume of children overpowering so we took ourselves off every single night thereafter, at our expense, via taxi to Palormos to eat. As we couldn't stand being in the pool area or the so called \"beach \"we also took ourselves off to Rethymno for two days again at our expense. And you wonder why we give it such a low rating. I don't want anyone else to have such a horrid experience as we did. And if you think it is just us then you are sadly mistaken, we chatted to a number of couples who were as upset as we were. I know that some of them already spoke to you, so your surprise at the rating can't be a total shock. I also know that as Hotel manager you need to get defensive and that very often gives a blinkered view of life. Remember we didn't make a fuss, shout and scream and demand, we just made alternative arrangements to make the most of the week we had. Lastly, we love Crete, having been to Chania, Heraklion and our favourite, Elounda. We love the people and as we said all the staff were wonderful as usual. The hotel however has a positioning issue and that needs to be rectified in its promotional material. I know we can't go back to the Royal Senses, but I do wish you all the best.

    Wir haben das Hotel The Royal Senses in Kreta pber TUI gebucht gehabt. Es hat alles reibungslos geklappt! Hotel war wie beschrieben traumhaft und wir würden es nochmal buchen
