    Great hotel, really good that you can use the sister hotel next door. The beach was also really nice, the boys loved snorkelling off the jetty.

    “Strandurlaub”

    Wir sind für gewöhnlich keine Cluburlauber, hatten aber eine sehr schöne Zeit in Hurghada. Unsere Zimmer waren sehr geräumig und gut ausgestattet, super war die Verbindungstür zwischen den Zimmern. Wir haben im Hauptrestaurant sowie in den a la Carte Restaurants sehr gut gegessen, die Mitarbeiter:innen hier waren immer freundlich, ebenso wie an der Poolbar und in der Lobbybar. Sehr gut gefallen hat und die Lage am Strand und die Möglichkeit, hier auch Schnorcheln zu können.

    Mixed experience, and disappointing given the higher price versus SUNRISE Diamond Beach last year, which we loved. Check-in was shocking — another couple pushed in ahead of the queue, and when I mentioned I'd been waiting, the woman shouted and swore at me, with her husband stepping toward me aggressively. Staff had to intervene. Not the welcome you want after a long travel day with kids and elderly parents in tow. As a type 1 diabetic, it took four attempts and half our holiday to get a sugar-free drink stocked in our room — a medical need, not a preference. Food safety also fell short: undercooked chicken at Gardino (staff agreed), and my mother tripped due to poor exterior lighting. The pool area was often dirty (nappies, straws in the water), and unlike Diamond Beach, we rarely got offered drinks poolside without asking. On the plus side: Ehab and Mahmoud (pool bar) and Nasir and Yasser (Gardino) were fantastic, the burger restaurant was a fun highlight, and the gym was well equipped. But cleanliness, staff training, and reception's queue management all need work — and I'd flag that extra paid vendors (ice cream, scooters) placed right by the kids' areas felt like a cash grab in an all-inclusive. Room was tired, noisy from constant construction/lawnmowers, and the pillows were so bad I'm still dealing with neck and back pain weeks later.
