Trip Advisor Review The Best All-Inclusive Resort We Have Ever Stayed At – Stella Luxury Resort & Spa 16th–23rd June 2026 My partner and I stayed at Stella Luxury Resort & Spa from 16th to 23rd June 2026 in a Premium Swim-Up Room, and without question, this was the best all-inclusive resort we have ever stayed at. We have stayed at many all-inclusive hotels and resorts over the years, but Stella has set a completely new standard for us. Arrival & Check-In Our holiday was booked through TUI, and the whole experience with them was smooth and easy. The TUI app made everything simple, with all the key travel information available in one place. The transfer buses were also excellent — modern, comfortable, and very nice, which made the journey to and from the hotel much easier. We arrived at Stella at around 21:00, and from the moment we stepped off the coach, we were immediately greeted by the reception and customer service teams. What happened next really stood out to us. Instead of being rushed through check-in, the team asked if we were hungry after our travels. As we were, they took us straight to the buffet to make sure we were fed before anything else. Afterwards, we were seated with welcome drinks and a sweet treat while everything was taken care of. They then booked all six of the all-inclusive restaurants for us there and then, in a quick and easy way. This was excellent because, at most all-inclusive resorts we have visited, you are left to book restaurants yourself and availability can often be limited. At Stella, this was not the case. We were able to experience all of our favourite restaurants as many times as we liked for lunch and dinner, with the exception of Isla Fine Dining, which is limited to one lunch and one dinner. This was an outstanding first impression and set the tone for the rest of the holiday. Accommodation Our Premium Swim-Up Room was fantastic. It was spacious, modern, beautifully presented, and kept in excellent condition throughout our stay. The housekeeping team deserve huge credit. It was clear how hard they worked and how much time and effort they spent keeping the rooms clean, fresh, and in great condition every day. Every time we returned to the room, it was spotless and beautifully maintained. Their hard work did not go unnoticed and made a big difference to the overall experience. Restaurants & Food One of the biggest highlights of Stella is the vast amount of restaurants available. The choice is incredible, and it meant we always had something different to enjoy. The quality of the food was outstanding across the resort. Everything we ate was fresh, well presented, full of flavour, and of a much higher standard than we have experienced at other all-inclusive resorts. A special mention has to go to the new Isla Restaurant, which was extremely impressive. The setting, atmosphere, food, and service were all excellent. It is also clear that Stella continues to heavily invest in the hotel, and this has absolutely paid off. The new Nest Rooms and Isla Restaurant are both fantastic additions and show that the ownership and management team are committed to continuing to improve the guest experience. Bars & Drinks The bars were excellent, with a great choice of drinks and cocktails throughout the day. Our personal favourite drink recommendations are the Red Affinity and the Piña Colada. Both were consistently excellent and quickly became our go-to choices. The People We'll Never Forget There is one group of people who deserve recognition of their own, because they became such a special part of our holiday. Gilman, Natasa, and Maria at the Umbra Bar were, quite simply, incredible. From the very first day, they welcomed us with genuine warmth, kindness, and authenticity. They didn't just remember our favourite drinks, they remembered us. Every visit felt personal, every conversation felt genuine, and every day they made us feel like we were seeing friends rather than simply ordering drinks from a bar. What made them so special wasn't just their professionalism, but their personalities. They have a natural ability to make people smile, laugh, and feel completely at ease. We shared so many conversations throughout the week, learning about their lives, hearing their stories, and enjoying countless laughs together. Just as importantly, they took a genuine interest in us too. They asked about our lives, remembered what we'd spoken about the day before, and made us feel like we mattered. In an industry where staff meet hundreds of guests every week, that level of genuine care is something truly special. Some of the funniest moments of our entire holiday happened at the Umbra Bar. There were days we laughed so much that our stomachs genuinely hurt, and those memories are some of the ones we'll treasure the most. Their sense of humour is second to none, and the positive energy they bring is absolutely infectious. They have the kind of personalities that instantly lift the atmosphere around them and make everyone feel happier just by being there. We joked that if Netflix ever made a documentary about the three of them, it would no doubt go straight to the number one spot—because they're three genuinely wonderful people whose personalities are impossible not to love. People often say that it's the people who make a holiday, and we've never believed that more than we do now. Stella Luxury Resort & Spa is an exceptional resort, but Gilman, Natasa, and Maria made our experience unforgettable. To the three of you, thank you for every smile, every laugh, every conversation, and every perfectly made drink. Thank you for making us feel so welcome, for treating us like family. We genuinely hope to see you all again when we return. Until then, thank you for being such a huge part of the best holiday we've ever had. Spa The spa was another brilliant part of our stay. We had a 60-minute scalp and back massage, which was excellent. The treatment was relaxing, professional, and competitively priced compared with other all-inclusive hotels and resorts we have visited. The spa facilities ticked all the boxes, and the views of the hotel from the spa after the treatment were truly something else. It was a perfect way to relax and added even more to the overall experience. Gym The gym was also very impressive. It was extremely clean, well maintained, and fitted with high-end equipment. Unlike many hotel gyms, it felt like a proper fitness facility rather than an afterthought. The quality of the equipment and the cleanliness of the space were excellent. Resort & Facilities The resort itself is beautiful. The grounds, pools, restaurants, bars, and public areas were all maintained to a very high standard. Although the hotel was at full capacity during our stay, it never felt overcrowded. In fact, it remained extremely peaceful at all times of the day, which added massively to the experience. There was always space to relax, sunbeds were available, queues were minimal, and the atmosphere across the resort was calm and enjoyable. From a guest point of view it seemed that the visible teams on the ground were sufficiently staffed to deal with guests. There was always someone available when needed, and service never felt stretched or rushed. Credit should go to the ownership and management team. The hotel feels exceptionally well run, and it is clear that a lot of love, thought, care, and investment goes into the guest experience. The future also looks bright for Crete, especially with the construction of the new airport, which is reportedly due to open soemtime in the near future. This should only improve the travel experience further. Overall Experience Stella Luxury Resort & Spa is by far the best all-inclusive resort we have ever stayed at. The accommodation was excellent, the food was outstanding, the choice of restaurants was fantastic, the spa and gym were both impressive, and the staff were exceptional. What makes Stella stand out is how well everything comes together. The hotel feels luxurious, peaceful, well managed, and genuinely guest-focused. We left feeling completely relaxed and already planning our return visit for next year and hopefully for many more years to come. Exceptional accommodation, food outstanding, service without doubt some of the best we have experienced

Cannot rate this highly enough! It exceeds all expectations

Hotel and grounds are stunning and well maintained, there is an issue with sunloungers though, if you have a swim up, bungalow or nest your room is likely to have a lot of shade on your terrace therefore these guests reserve sunloungers meant for the other rooms that they then only use once their terrace has no sun! There is no actual swimming pool if you wanted to actually swim, they are all slim lagoon like pools and not very deep. Our package was AI but it actually wasn't, if you want a decent drink (branded) then there is an extra charge (expensive) and only one choice of lager. The food is excellent and no issues booking A la carte restaurants. The staff are very friendly and there to help all the time. The entertainment is average, the same dance troupe doing the same thing every night but in different costumes, apart from one night there was a band and they were great, the white party was a huge disappointment! Perfect for a romantic couple or a honeymoon. Not so perfect if you want a bit of liveliness in an evening
