Having previously stayed at the RIU palace Maldives which was exquisite we booked another palace as we were told that all palaces are of a high standard turns out that isn’t the case reception area very well presented and immaculate room on first glance small but nicely presented where in reality one plug socket holes in bed sheets and the blackout curtains shower leaked as the seals didn’t line up found broken glass in the bathroom by the shower and a glass missing after the cleaner had been can only assume the cleaner broke it but it was never replaced fridge only restocked every other day along with tea coffee facilities no room service towel hut closed at 3pm every day a bar advertised as a pool bar yet you were not allowed to go to it wet you were not allowed to reserve sun lounges which I agree with but it wasn’t being policed so everyone was just reserving them far to many palm trees so quite many places were in shade all day some staff were miserable and rude the food was virtually the same selection every day also bland tasteless and the hot food was always cold we complained about this and the restaurant supervisor said as from about 18 months ago that the food had gone down hill that he got complaints daily from all different nationalities but that management wasn’t interested we resorted to buying our own food from a near by shop the only other restaurant had such a bizarre menu it put you off without even going in no wonder it was always empty they allow topless sunbathing which we didn’t think was appropriate when there are young children around we complained the manager said to me this is 2026 don’t you like to look at ********** the entertainment was just singing every night no variation oh and the hot food at the late night snack bar was also cold despite how the hotel might advertise itself I think that’s a true and fair reflection we were also told not all palaces are palaces and the further away you go the better they are which is shame after the 2 weeks we stayed cost us neatly £5000 tui also class this as a 5 star when its official rating is 4 star we didn’t think at the time to get receipts for the food we didn’t eat out every night I estimate over the 2 weeks we spent £250 mainly at McDonalds

Supervakantie gehad. Alle assistentie perfect geregeld door Tui. Hotel was top, we hebben genoten. Mooie kamers, rustig hotel, heerlijk eten. Een echte aanrader!!!

Bra service, god mat, rent och fint.

Das Essen ist fast immer das Selbe und teilweise schlecht zubereitet. Die Abendveranstaltungen sind fast immer die selben und langweilig....warum nicht mal einen Flamencoabend?
