Terrible terrible terrible. I simply have nothing good to say. After refusing 2 of the rooms I was upgraded to a room with a garden covered with cat poo, the smell was atrocious. I asked for wine at the pool bar and was told they had run out! I then asked for a beer, they had also run out! The pool area is covered in astro turf that looks like it's been there for 20 years, it's so thin it'actually moves which is highly dangerous and a trip hazard. I was really looking forward to my 60th birthday celebrations only to be totally disappointed and upset.

There was no daytime or evening menu Bar staff were rude .and just played Ibiza sounds music even after I complained. Reception staff were superb . Cleanings staff were superb Breakfast staff were superb

In addition to my opening comments, I would add that although our rooms were attended to every day, this was sometimes quite late in the afternoon suggesting that the hotel was employing less staff than it needed. Also the bar frequently ran out of basic drinks such as beer and wine. There did not seem to be any great level of consumption by guests, simply an inability to plan ahead and order supplies in.

First room was like a dark damp cold dungeon. Got moved 3 days later to bigger room but very run down old fashioned, toilet leaked in both rooms, shower door missing, son’s room had no toilet flush all week. Cracked sinks, no kettle, fridge didn’t chill, overgrown gardens shaded everything. Bird poo all over the step all week. No electric sockets in room. The pool was dirty scum line all around it. Dangerous rotting decking covered up by fake grass which was a trip hazard and your feet went through the decking in all the holes. Our son fell on the decking and cut his knee open. Coffee machine didn’t work every morning and the breakfast was all dried up. The bar snack consisted of a bag of crisps and they lost the key to the ice cream freezer. The beds were clean daily and location was good for restaurants/bars but apart from that this place was shocking. Paid way too much for this family holiday. The owners children ruled the pool every day. Running riot round the pool, splashing residents on purpose spitting greenies in the pool and one was sick in the pool shower. It was awful.
