Hotel dated needing a refurb. Pool in very poor condition.

At the patio doors there was only one curtain that did not cover the whole door so we felt very exposed when in the room. We asked 3 times at reception and nothing was done. I asked on the TUI app and again nothing. Shower was very tiny. no hot water for the shower on any day. no plug in the sink

Nothing like describe on the website, we had to ask to change the room. Hotel has no personality, no welcome on arrival or good bye on check out. Room was dark, no storage, single door open wardrobe with 5 hangers that's it! No other storage at all, hard to unpack, same with the bathroom no where to put the toiletries. Staff is unfortunately not friendly, swimming pool area always dirty, we stayed 11 nights seen enough. The last drop was when my husband accidentally dropped glass in the room and smashed it, we asked for someone to come to sweep as peaces of the glass were everywhere, no one was bothered over 5 hours, I went to reception several times to ask. Definitely not recommend this hotel.

Overall the rooms were very clean, a little tired and could a facelift. The pool area, had artificial grass and again this area needed a revamp as the decking under the artificial grass was broken and hard to walk on to get to the sun beds. Sunbeds again well used and need replacing.. The life guard sat on his ********** all day with ear plugs in smoking, the pool was full on dead bugs, spiders and petals from the surrounding trees. If he could have cleaned it with the large net a few times a day, we may have used the pool more often.
