“Prettig hotel”

Petradi beach was een fijn simpel hotel om te verblijven. Kamers zijn wel erg klein voor 3 personen er was geen plek om de koffers uit te pakken met maar enkele haakjes in de kamer. De airco blies niet ver genoeg om de bovenverdieping met het dubbele bed te verkoelen. Beneden was het daardoor erg koud om het boven nog iets af te kunnen koelen. Zwembad was erg netjes met een mooi keien strand. De bediening aan de bar was erg goed enkel het restaurant was erg slecht hebben na bestellen 1 uur gewacht tot ze kwamen melden dat ons gerecht er niet was en nog 1 uur voor alles werdt geserveerd. Verder ook geen communicatie vanuit de bediening. Het hotel ligt afgelegen maar op 5 minuten lopen is een gratis shuttle bus en vanuit het hotel is een taxi 10 euro naar rethymon. Erg mooie omgeving met lekkere restaurants.

“Tolles kleines Hotel.”

Direkte Standlage, ruhig und in 15 min zu Fuß in die schöne Altstadt Rethymnon. Personal sehr freundlich, alle sprechen perfekt englisch. Es fehlt an nichts. Der Strand war gemischt Sand/ Stein. Wasserschuhe zu empfehlen.

The accommodation could do with a kettle,cups and glasses in the room. Fortunately I had read reviews beforehand and so took everything with me. The rooms could also do with some drawers for storage. The area for me that needed the most improvement was the beach. Lots of plastic was washed in from the sea and there was also lots of large pebbles. It is great to have direct access to the beach but the beach needs cleaning up. The hotel should regularly clean their beach area maybe twice a week and make it more appealing to guests and also help the environment. The first day I was there I picked up lots of plastic from the shore line just outside the hotel and filled a 10 litre bag!! It is disgraceful that it is dropped into the sea in the first place. I would still happily recommend this hotel with its stunning views but please help the environment and make our stay even better.

Whilst the hotel has had a renovation recently I feel that they focused on the external features. The rooms themselves are a little dated and missing some key features and the layout was strange with the sink not in the bathroom. The doors were not very secure and there was no where to hang wet clothes on the balcony. But I could not fault the staff at all they were amazing,

Well we got to our hotel at 2:30 am , reception wasn’t open. No one was around. We spent half hour trying to find staff. Tgen my daughter found an envelope on a random table , with my name on. I tried messaging Tui no reply!!. Our room was on a noisy road, door to our room let all the noise in!! It was a really busy road. Breakfast was awful hardly no choice, burnt food, lots flies landing on food. By day 4 they hardly had any choice. More like a 2 star hotel not a 4 star. Tui should also mention majority of people who stay there are foreign, German etc. which should be mentioned on booking. As I would have chosen a different hotel. We had 2 days where there was one other English couple. Then rest of week me and daughter was only English which didnt make us feel comfortable
