    Honestly, if our most recent holiday was half as good as it was it would’ve still exceeded our expectations 10x over, I’ve booked through TUI on several occasions now and can honestly say it’s the easiest way, so many customisation options, want to book a holiday with flights through a different company … easy with TUI … want to book a cruise from Florida … easy with TUI even down to the flights, hotels and transfers, all through different companies but overseen by TUI … our recent trip to the Nana Royal in Crete was exceptional, food was brilliant, the room was stunning (and even had a swim up pool!) the hotel staff were friendly, made us feel welcome and didn’t instil a sense of being rushed, even on our last day the manager said we could stay until our transfer arrived and we still had access to all the all inclusive amenities, I have never experienced this with any other hotel before, honestly superb.

    The Nana Royal had only just opened so we expected teething problems. For example some of the shared toilet doors wouldn’t even shut and need rehanging, however, our worst experience was the buffet breakfast. The service was extremely poor, with a lack of staff that didn’t know what they were doing. It was chaos with no clean tables, and you couldn’t even get a cup of tea or juice. Normally, my experience is that you’re shown to your table and someone will ask for your drinks first, however, you went in to find and clear your own table and had to chase staff down to be served. It was very poor indeed. There was never anyone of any authority to help the poor brand new, untrained staff. The hotel itself was amazing and I’m sure with correct staffing levels they will get there.
