Hotel was in a fantastic location and room had a beautiful sea view. Staff all very helpful and polite. Cleanliness was exemplary. Great choice of buffet breakfast.

Small hotel (55 rooms) but there was a lack of atmosphere especially in dining area and terraces even background music would have helped- Staff were superb rooms cleaned daily and towels changed twice a day every day

In description of hotel does say transfer leaves you 500m from hotel as area allows no cars . A long 500m on an extremely steep hill ie no way you are getting your luggage down to hotel yourself… but is electric buggy service that takes you and your luggage down for € 8 and took luggage into hotel reception… up 2 sets of steps . Anyone was disability would not be able to do this themselves. In fact the hotel is not suitable for wheelchair users as no ramps and various sets of stairs . Also whole resort not good for people with walking issues as cobbles and stairs and very steep hills . I had been in touch with yourself prior to booking re accommodation as not clear in published description and did not get a lot of help as you could not get more information? We were more than happy with room but did upgrade. Another thing I checked before booking was ‘swimming’ facilities…. Having now been ( and actually checked back to your hotel description) what is published is not accurate.. The hotel has facilities about good 15 minutes away … not easy walk as up and down and very narrow when buggy passing . The facility is range of thermal pools and is very well kept and lovely. The Miramare residents do not pay to use this … get bed and towel from lifeguard. There is a restaurant and bar and health spa which if you use you will pay for . The hotel provides a golf buggy to take you to the thermal pools which takes about 3-4 minutes along the track that you would need to walk if that’s what you want to do … but very tight space and would be impossible for pram and golf buggy to be side by side in track ! We had no problem getting buggy time wise but place was quiet and do wonder how timing would be as season heats up ? Can only run one buggy ( taking 3 people) at time due to width of track .

“Hotel Miramare Sea Resort Ischia”

Im Grunde gibt es keine größeren Beanstandungen. Das Hotel-Team war durchweg außergewöhnlich freundlich. Bei Halbpension: Speisekarte hätte auch auf Deutsch sein können. Guter Service, aber meiner Meinung nach kein 5 Sterne-Hotel, wie bei einigen Reiseanbietern angegeben. Gebucht war ein Deluxe Zimmer, hatten am 1. Tag nur ein Superior,welches jedoch gewechselt werden konnte. Im Großen und Ganzen war alles zu unserer vollen Zufriedenheit. Das Hotelpersonal gab sich stets viel Mühe!

From the moment we arrived to the second we left, we had a wonderful stay at Miramare! We were greeted on arrival by a lovely lady, taken to the terrace and provided with water as we were checked in. Everything was fully explained to us about the hotel facilities and also the thermal pools at the sister hotel which is a short walk away. The room was beautiful - bright, spotless and with a gorgeous view over the sea. The balcony was great for watching all the boats in the bay! All staff were very warm, friendly, helpful and attentive. They are a real credit to the business. Fresh towels were provided each day and our room was always made up to a good standard. The food at the restaurant was excellent. The terrace area was great for relaxing with drinks after dinner - Genaro makes some absolutely knock-out cocktails! It was also a great space to relax in after breakfast. The hotel is in a great location and is close to the harbour, restaurants, bars and shops. We travelled through TUI and I recommend paying extra for private return transfers as it made travelling from and to Naples airport a breeze and we didn't have to cart our own luggage from and to our transfer drop-off/ pick-up point in Sant'Angelo. I thoroughly recommend Miramare Sea Resort and Spa if you plan on visiting Ischia and staying in beautiful Sant'Angelo. Thanks to all the staff at the hotel for such excellent service!
