The hotel decription was inaccurate. It was described as ideal for honeymooners - it was nothing special (unless you had your own swim up pool - which fortunately we did, as the description boasted 'an adult only number' (pool) - which it did not have. This was confirmed by the hotel reception staff as always being a family friendly hotel!). The description also described the hotel as having their own sunbeds on the beach. This was a shock when we turned up to both beaches and got charged 15 euros for the privilege! They do not have any sunbeds attached to the hotel for customers and for our whole stay would have cost 150 euros on top of the £4500 we initially paid. Another misdescription! The hotel has no designated smoking areas and we were persistently sitting amongst smokers wherever we sat - my husband is asthmatic and this was not very relaxing. The hotel would benefit from having such an area - so people do not have to inhale smoke should they choose not to. The mini-market was ridiculously overpriced, which absolutely took the mick out of it's customers, many of whom have paid a ridiculous price to be there. The shop a few meters down the road sold items at a fraction of the price - it just made us feel like we were been taken for a ride. Not expected, nor neccessary. The description should also say that water is not included in the all inclusive price - it is a seperate cost whilst there. Complaint - we put in a complaint with Tui whilst in Crete and are still awaiting an answer to the last email we sent which was on 13/7/26 (ticket- **********/ uk_28602122). I would be greatful if you could respond to this as soon as possible please. The price - we paid £4500 for this hotel and could not understand the value given that in order to experience any kind of Cretan entertainment we needed to pay another 25 Euros each for a special cretan night....including food costs....(that we had already paid for in all inclusive!!) We should not be paying extra to experience this. The food - We expected high quality food for the hotel star rating. It was very standard and repetitive. We had one moussaka, one gyros and one tabulleh in ten days! The hotel would benefit greatly from losing the chips, spaghetti and red sauce and offering traditional Cretan food experiences for the customers who pay greatly for the service. The waiting and bar staff however were amazing and very kind and welcoming and definitely one of the best parts of that hotel! Drinks with meals were very stingy - we were only allowed one wine glass full of water/soft drink or wine/beer per sitting, I often felt thirsty throughout. If your glass was empty they were never asking if we needed more drink. During our stay in the swim up pool we paid £1500 additionally for - a cleaner? two rooms down turned up with a child and spoke loudly on her mobile phone on loudspeaker for at least a few hours outside, disturbing the peace that we had paid for and letting her child jump pool to pool in rooms that were occupied. It was outrageous and totally unacceptable! This happened in room 119 around the 10/7/26 if it needs further investigation. You do not expect this when you pay for the exclusive privelege of having a swim-up pool. Lastly - I think Tui's decision for notifying customers 2 days before the end of the holiday regards transportation to the airport is not good enough. Our flight home was at 8.30pm - we had to check out at 12pm (so understandably needed to find accomodation for a few hours.) The late notice meant that when we asked for an extention on the room until 4, chances were that it couldn't be extended. We asked however immediately after your notification of collection for 4.30pm. The reception staff informed us they would put in a request, but we would not get an answer until the following evening (the penultimate day) and to ask on the way into dinner. So... second visit - it was a no. We could have an alterative room, but we would need to go back to reception at 10.30am the following day! (this being our last morning of honeymoon!!) The alternative was to use their shower room. They said it would be nearby and they would tell us the following day! I felt this was not good enough and very disruptive to our 'holiday' visiting reception for decisions every two minutes! In order to maintain less-disturbance we opted for the shower room as it was turning into an ordeal...only to be told that we couldn't reserve the shower room with a time until.....the following morning!! It was a shambles - chaotic, disruptive and stressful. It did not need to be such a rigmarole and felt like such an intrusive interruption to the end of our honeymoon. They did not go out of their way to help us with our holiday experience and made us feel very dissapointed and sad on our last few days there. A week before leaving for the holiday we tried to book some excursions and the app would not allow us any experiences with transportation to/from the hotel. It displayed trips related to the other side of the island with no means of pick-ups - they were all unrelated to our specific area. So we couldn't book any trips - another disappointment. The rep's meetings were in the middle of the day and we did not want our honeymoon consumed by more visits to reception. We feel very let down by tui on this holiday and given it was our honeymoon, even more so.

Lovely hotel, room cleaning left a little to be desired but we were only in there to sleep. Resort not suitable for anyone with mobility issues

Been 3 times to this hotel and we love it,was alittle disappointed with the location of the room this time, felt like we had been downgraded ! We normally stay in the 800's but ended up in a pokey area in the 400's

This hotel has the friendliest, most helpful reception staff we have come across. A huge asset to the management. Rooms are very clean and views are stunning. Dining room is nice, food good but having to pay for water at dinner when on half board seems a bit much.
