Hotel was clean overall, location was excellent the things that let it down was the food. Very repetitive, bland and of poor quality 2 star food. All inclusive package ended at 11pm and entertainment was poor
Show moreThe hotel was very tired, needed painting, the food was disgusting, same food every day, limited choice. Couldn't hire a kettle, arrived late so no food available, all inclusive bands off at 11am on day of departure so no lunch had to eat out.
Show moreSheets smelt of wet dog, until they were changed, food was very basic, pizza and spag bol served TWICE DAILY, not a lot of choice. Pictures of hotel were very different to actually being there, pool looked bigger and food pictures were definitely not what we had.. check out at 11, and had to pay for anything after, not good with late flight out. A 2 star at a push, definitely not a 3 star.
Show moreTo whom it may concern, I am writing to inform you of my latest TUI holiday. The experience we had left us feeling more tired, dirtier and more in need of a holiday than when we left. My wife and myself were so looking forward to a much needed relax on our current holiday to Rhodes. My wife, who is currently in her first trimester and suffering with morning sickness, was left with extremely limited options on what to eat as the vegetarian/ English style options that were available were spaghetti and pizza every single day of our stay. Pizza was also one of the snacks offered at the pool bar everyday alongside sandwiches that had sat in the sun and began to sweat. Unfortunately limitations of choice isn’t where our concerns with the food end. The food was mainly meat options sat under lamps. The options were labelled as things as vague and basic as “chicken” and “beef” with no other information. The food sat under the lamps was barely lukewarm upon serving leading us to believe that it was sitting at unsafe temperatures (barely warm rather than cold or hot) that are perfect for bacteria to breed. As you can imagine with our first pregnancy trying to navigate what’s safe to eat is hard enough without improperly labelled and stored food and meats. The meat sitting at these temperatures can breed bacteria such as listeria which is known to cause miscarriages so my wife was unable to eat these options. My wife not wanting to depend on pizza to live sought relief and nutrition from the fruit and salad bar which she also couldn’t eat from as we noticed dirty tomatoes, apples covered in dried white splotches as though a yoghurt like substance had spilt on them and not been washed and on multiple occasions mouldy apples were also on the trays in the restaurant. Unwashed, improperly labelled and incorrectly stored food simply do not meet food standards requirements in terms of being safe. Alongside issues with our food our room did not live up to the expectations set by the photos with a gunky bathroom floor, a shower head that squirted in different directions that you could position away from aiming at our toilet roll on our toilet roll holder( giving us a damp toilet roll on night one) and a balcony door that didn’t lock and opened from the outside. Staff were rude and standoffish with simple requested such as a cup of hot water making us nervous to talk to them about our concerns. My wife and I frequently walked through the lobby not able to see the tui rep to help us with our concerns. Not a single member of staff asked us if our stay was okay while we were there. I’m writing this in the hopes it can be resolved privately as my family and I have been long time tui costumers and I didn’t want to public leave this review. I look forward to your solution to these issues. Jack Morford.
