As I have said, filthy, fly ridden, staff motivated by tips. All inclusive ...measly drinks and left overs for snacks. No sandwiches and nothing fresh. I seriously urge you to pull out as your reputation will falter. I am a truly disappointed traveller.

The hotel management team were not helpful at any stage, which detracted from the activities, waiter, housekeeping & bar staff who were very helpful and friendly. In a country which has a closed currency, the hotel would not accept a VISA card for tourist tax and told us to go to an ATM 2Mts along the road, only to be informed that the said ATM does not ever work and we had a 40 minute walk to the nearest ATM and 40 Minutes return ( I will add I walk with the aid of a walking stick and in a 30oC heat this was the last thing we wished to do ) the hotel would not let us check in fully until we went a got money from an ATM. The food was repetitive and cold, with the quality of a very poor standard, I have eaten a better option from a works canteen. We were advised that we were not to drink the water only use bottled water, when we finally got into our room we opened the fridge to find there was no water, which we found out that we had to go to the bar to obtain a bottle of water, why in an establishment where only bottled water for drinking then there should be water placed in your room daily when the housekeeper is attending. I suffer from Type 2 Diabetes and was advised to go to the shop next door I I wanted to have a diet soft drink or they could supply sauger free drinks if I paid for them. As for our room the door leading out to the terrace area would not close properly the door was warped and open at the bottom, then it jammed and would not open two days after reporting a maint person came and fixed it but still open at the bottom, the bathroom was very small with a over bath shower with no grab rail to assist stepping into the shower, the sink would not drain as per normal it took quite a long time to drain away. The TUI rep and his supervisor did meet up with us and several other travelers and I am assured that he was going to report on our issues, he even went to get the hotel manager to listen to our issues but the manager was completely defensive and was not willing to listen and unfortunately had a very abrupt attitude towards all the guests. As for the star ratings for the hotel, I would very much not rate the hotel over 2 stars would recommend that TUI reconsider using the Hammamet Hotel & Spa in their option for a holiday destination as this hotel is only going to damage your reputation. This experience has certainly made us do more research on our next holiday, will we use TUI next time round that will be looked at on our next holiday destination, we used TUI in Nov 25 For our Cape Verde holiday but used Easy Jet on a holiday we had in Crete on May 25.

This accommodation is dated and not as described on the app, the room given to us was small and not as seen online. Rated much less than the stars online. The food is cold with flys landing on it, salt and pepper is very limited and drinks they don't have enough glasses or drinks for serving the customers.

There was ants in my room so had to move rooms after one night and the shower was leaking in new room there was no tea and coffee in the room

It was 4*... but there's 4* and there's 4*... this was African 4*, not European 4*, which would equate to 2* really.
