Very clean friendly staff and excellent food

To start with the positives, the views were beautiful and the food was plentiful. However, the hotel is advertised as four star. It really isn't. Some of the staff were rude and unhelpful, especially the barman (the manager wasn't much better). Information was generally lacking. The rooms were tired and dingy with nowhere nice to sit outside. The dining experience was like being in a staff canteen with harsh overhead lighting and our plates whipped away as soon as we had eaten our last mouthful. I would also expect real butter as an option in a 4 star hotel, not just margarine. The decor was dull and generic - we could have been anywhere in the world. We were expecting a relaxing stay from reading the reviews but were horrified by the loudness of the evening entertainment, which was not to our taste, but we accept that other people seemed to love it. Our rooms were, unfortunately, right next to the bar and entertainment area. We were also shocked by the high tourist tax we had to pay on arrival. Ten euros a day seems excessive for the quality of the hotel. Overall we were not impressed.

Keri Village is a small remote hotel but this doesn’t take away from the holiday. Great sunrises and a beautiful sea view. Friendly staff and the accommodation was spotless
