If you're considering booking Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach, do it. This was genuinely one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had, and I cannot wait to return next month. From the moment we arrived, everything was flawless. Check-in was smooth, fast, welcoming, and we were greeted with a lovely welcome drink. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning, and the atmosphere immediately makes you feel relaxed and at home. The staff are what truly make this hotel special. Every single member of the team was friendly, funny, welcoming, and genuinely seemed to care that guests were having the best possible experience. A huge special mention has to go to the food, because it was exceptional. Honestly, every meal was top tier. Throughout our stay, I didn't eat a single thing that I didn't absolutely love. The quality, variety, and flavour were outstanding, and I can genuinely say that the food alone is one of the reasons I will be returning. An enormous thank you to Chef Katrina, who went above and beyond for my son. Every lunchtime she personally prepared meals tailored to his dietary requirements and preferences, and she made sure there was always a chef available at dinner who could recreate the same meals for him. The level of care, kindness, and attention she showed was incredible and made such a difference to our holiday. A special mention also goes to Opal in the buffet restaurant, who looked after us every breakfast and lunch. Her warmth, attentiveness, and friendly smile made every meal even more enjoyable. It was always lovely to see her and she genuinely made us feel welcome each day. Another special shout-out goes to Aldin at the Beach Hut Bar, who was an absolute highlight of our trip, as well as Errol at the beach bar. In fact, all of the bar staff throughout the resort were fantastic. They quickly learned our favourite drinks, remembered how we liked them, and always greeted us with a smile. The hospitality throughout the resort was exceptional. Speaking of smiles, Brownin at the towel hut deserves a mention too. She started every single one of our days with the biggest smile and the warmest welcome. No matter how hot it was, she was always cheerful, kind, and full of positive energy. Iberostar, if you're reading this, please get Brownin a fan for the towel hut! She deserves it for keeping guests smiling all day long in that Jamaican heat. Our housekeeper, Hope, was wonderful. Our room was always spotless, beautifully maintained, and she regularly checked in to make sure we had everything we needed and that nothing had been missed. Her warmth and friendliness really stood out. The entertainment team absolutely brought the energy every single day. There was always something happening, and they did an amazing job of involving guests of all ages. I particularly loved that competitions and activities often included separate categories for children and adults so everyone could participate and feel included. A big thank you to Too Short, Red Bull, and Mickey, who were amazing with my son and always made sure he was having fun. The lifeguards also deserve recognition. They were friendly, attentive, professional, and always alert. My son is a very capable swimmer, but knowing there were vigilant lifeguards constantly watching gave me real peace of mind. The Jerk Hut on the beach was sensational and became one of our favourite lunchtime spots. We also thoroughly enjoyed the à la carte restaurants, particularly the Caribbean restaurant, the Italian restaurant, and the Smokehouse, all of which offered fantastic food and service. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and well maintained. We had a beautiful ocean and pool view from our balcony, which was lovely to wake up to every morning. The beds were enormous and incredibly comfortable. One thing that made this trip especially convenient was having Dressel Divers located right on the resort. I was able to complete my Open Water scuba certification during my stay, with pool sessions taking place in the hotel pool and dive boats departing directly from the resort's pier. Everything was incredibly easy and convenient, allowing me to enjoy diving while still keeping an eye on my son. The bellboys were also fantastic. They were always available to help, always friendly, and regularly checked in to see if there was anything we needed, even when simply passing by around the resort. Overall, Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach exceeded every expectation. The beautiful resort, exceptional food, outstanding service, incredible staff, fantastic entertainment, and family-friendly atmosphere made this an unforgettable holiday. I have travelled extensively and can honestly say this ranks among the very best hotel experiences I have ever had.

it was beautiful and very well maintained it was very clean and well thought out the way the bars and restaurants where laid out was perfect

Immaculate, spacious room. Mini fridge in room replenished with soft drinks and beer daily. Air conditioning very efficient

The hotel overall was very nice the food was ok could have been hotter althoughthere was always a good choice the drinks were good too. Evening entertainment was a bit lacking the show didn't start till 9 or 9.30 and was only on for an hour I didn't see any children's entertainment earlier in the evening sometimes there was karaoke in the sports bar. The pools are lovely with views over the beach but there is no children's pool both pools are over 4ft deep with no shallow end there was also plenty of loungers round the pools and on the beach . The room was a decent size with very comfortable beds the shower was good with plenty of hot water wall fixed toiletries were provided but no bathrobes or slippers the balcony was a good size with a table and chairs and drying rail and pool and sea view.
