Great gardens, animals, nature aspects, sustainability looked ok, great pool, great restaurants, food and drinks, friendly staff overall (see note below though), great beach, loved that the resort has 5 hotels together (loads of space to walk around), gym with very good vibe, nice shopping mall, and so much greenery! Cleaning was also spotless overall, and the hotel was well maintained despite no longer being new, which just added character and had none of the plastic looks of most modern hotels. We just had a couple of issues with the Club and Concierge staff, and one fo the cleaners. First, the concierge pushed us to go for special breakfast straight away to sell us a club membership, no time to settle down. No clarity of what the club actually was or how it would work. We were told to bring a credit card as they woudl just pin it but not charge (an illegal way to run credit checks without telling the customer) and some form of ID. The day affter when we got picked up, another Club Concierge insisted it had to be a Visa Credit Card and a Passport but did not want to explain why, which was fishy so we just pretended Mastercard was the only. card we had. We went to the presentation but were not allowed to stay and were sent directly to breakfast with no explanation - all sounded very dodgy. We were told to claim some vouchers for trips or to use at the hotel shopping mall at our hotel concierge desk and they never had them, we got fed up of claiming the credit as it made us feeling like beggars, until we then booked the excursions and the lady of the agency went to claim the credit on our behalf. They never wanted to explain us what the club was and made it sound like the masonry! One of the guys selling the club around the pool and the beach then harassed us for 4 days after, always calling my partner \"my sexy boyfriend\" which was just not appropriate as he was clearly making innuendos. This was a great shame as we holiday a lot in location where there are Iberostar hotels, we actually did like the hotel otherwise, and were keen to learn about the club advantages but after being so poorly treated and insulted there is no chance we will ever buy a club membership from these guys. The rest of the hotel staff were lovely, but the club and the concierge teams are absolutely disgusting. We then had another issue as the cleaner threw away a bottle of eye drops medication we left on top of the bed side table we could not without. The hotel refused to pay for the medicine, and a kid-concierge told us the policy was to open and check all our luggage in such cases!!!! Completely rude and offensive. We were told otherwise we would have to pay extra charges and delivery if we wanted them to order the medication from ourside, and we had to pay in cash. A medication that costs a couple of pounds ended costing us around £50 but my partner has glaucoma and cannot stay without medication otherwise permanent loss of sight progresses irreversibly! We were not given or shown a receipt which they alledgely kept until they would check with the cleaner if she did remember anything. We were never givne the receipt later either. Wether this was an honest mistake on the cleaner side and a lot of rudeness on the kid-concierge side, or a typical mexican plot to force a tourist to pay extras to order stuff from outside of the resort with expensive charges we will never know...

    “Iberostar- Zweiklassengesellschaft trotz All inclusive”

Keine Empfehlung!

We have been to this hotel before, though 10 years ago. It’s perhaps not quite as good in some respects as it was previously, but they are only minor things apart from there is now a segregation of ‘ordinary’ & ‘premium’ sections what is a bit annoying & makes you feel a bit second class. Overall though, I wouldn’t hesitate returning
