When we arrived at hotel absolutely no information given, there is usually a welcome pack at any accomodation giving details on restaurant/bar times etc, fire safety & relevant exits, activities. We had to constantly ask questions from reception or any other staff we saw. Most members of staff were really quite rude & we found ourselves requesting to speak to management almost immediately. The fact that it was supposed to be a 4*+ is absolutely laughable as we wouldn't even rate it as a 2* Disgracefull hotel. The room was dirty with dust around the skirting, dado rails & around walk in shower unit, there were hairs & Sally sat on the bed & had a pubic hair stuck to her, we can guarantee that it certainly wasn't ours. The patio doors didn't lock which was reported to reception & we were completely ignored & nothing done so the fact that there was a chair at the entrance which you had to squeeze past to get out on the balcony was obviously the security!!!!!! The walk in shower was not much more than 2 ft square which made it extremely difficult to move around & god forbid trying to pick something off the floor, I'm no bigger than a size 10 & could barely move in there. The shower holder for shower above bath was broken & fell down permanently facing the wall & metal fixtures on bath looked rusty. Also who the ********** puts a pic on wall of an English snow scene in a sun holiday. Let's get to the meals, well the snack situation which was only located in the restaurant precooked burger or hot dog which had to be warmed in a decreped microwave, there were a few sandwiches, salad bowl which consisted of lettuce & 1 tomato, only fruit tinned fruit cocktail, oh choice of yoghurt or jelly. We were not at a child's birthday party. All main meals very little choice & practically inedible, most of meat full of fat & gristle, none of it tasty, very little dessert choice 1 of which was a bowl of cold cogelled custard with a marie biscuit on top. I do have photographic evidence as proof. The drink situation was no better, very little choice & poor quality, as for asking for more than 1 ice cube in a drink you would think I was asking them to draw blood & had rude responses. The pool well, lucky if you could fit 20 people in there if you enjoy being packed like a sardine & the fact there were less than 40 sunbeds catering for a hotel with 193 rooms is pitiful & the fact everyone had to queue up outside rooftop door waiting to be opened at 10am to get a sunbed was appalling. I'm really at a loss what more to say atm. I've never come across anything like it & I've had countless holidays of varying kind over the years & this was the lowest of the low!!!!!!!!
