    The only aspect of our stay that we found frustrating was the restaurant booking system. I am still unclear as to how the ‘Elite’ system operated. From our observations, the Elite restaurant appeared to be empty for approximately 95% of the time we were at the resort, yet guests who were not members of the Elite Club were unable to make reservations at any of the other restaurants and instead had to arrive and hope for availability. On several occasions, we were informed that there would be a wait of between 45 and 60 minutes before a table became available. However, when looking inside the restaurants, we could see that many tables were empty or waiting to be cleared, which gave the impression that the restaurants may have been understaffed. The most disappointing experience was at the Steakhouse restaurant. We arrived at 7:00 p.m. and requested a table, only to be told that the earliest available time was 8:45 p.m. At that point, only two or three tables were occupied. We later discovered that many of the other tables had been reserved for specific times. This left us confused, as we had understood that only Elite Club members were permitted to make reservations in advance. We felt that the restaurant reservation process lacked transparency and consistency, which detracted from what was otherwise an excellent holiday experience.

    Overall, the holiday went well. The only slightly negative note was the sea. The high water temperature brought out a lot of weeds, and swimming wasn't pleasant for four days.
