    The evening meals needed to offer more variety in particular vegetarians should have more options.

    I wish we had only booked bed and breakfast and not half board. The food quality and service was excellent but... The lunch/dinner menu never changed The food was very expensive obviously reflected in the holiday price Half board only covered the food and not a single drink (even a bottle of mineral water which was charged at 5 euros a bottle). This should be made clear to people. We were not allowed to have dinner on 25/7 as they had a private function. We had to have lunch instead which was not really what we wanted. They gave us a bottle of wine as \"compensation\" but it wasn't really a good tradeoff for us. We overlooked the building works too. The noise wasn't too much of an issue but it didn't make sitting on the balcony a great experience as they had huge cranes which were quite intimidating. As I said, B and B would have been better, there were loads of eateries only a 5-10 minute walk away in Stresa.

    Beautiful hotel and lovely staff Dining at breakfast and dinner was great however half board for 10 nights was very repetitive and hardly any vegetarian options

    A great hotel, with roof top bar and the only hotel in Stresa with lakeside pool. The food in the hotel was of an exceptional standard
