    Recommended

    Main hotel was lovely. Staff even more so . Our rooms were not cleaned very well . We were told pool towels were changed very 2 days. That didn’t happen . On one day our room wasn’t cleaned at all until we asked in the evening . The cleaners were very lackadaisical and didn’t do a good job in our opinion

    “Een echte Aanrader”

    Dit was een fantastisch hotel La Marquise, de service enorm goed, het personeel super vriendelijk en behulpzaam zéker Ernie is een topper, well done ! Het eten super lekker, zéker iemand als ik die een moeilijke eter ben, voor ieder wat wils. Hygiëne héél goed verzorgd kamer, zwembad alles proper. Entertainment héél goed heb mij goed geamuseerd. Daar ga ik zéker nog eens terug.

    Room was noisy - from the bedroom against the corridor you could hear everyone passing by, the cleaners etc. Also walls paper thin and could hear room next door. Cocktails and drinks in the day all served in cardboard cups, never had this in any 4* + let alone a 5* - surely perspex glasses should be provided. This did not feel 5*. Also ordering service to sunbeds didn't always go through. We didn't read the small print prior to booking and was disappointed to learn all incl. drinks were excluded from beach bar, have never experienced this before and felt like the 'poor relations' on the beach while all neighbouring hotels did include this. Main dining area - if we finished our mains within half an hour of service concluding plates were never cleared from table as all staff seemed busier laying tables for the next service. Products in the bathroom certainly weren't 'luxury' or high end as advertised: they were basic. This is all far from what I expect and have previously experienced in any 5* resort.

    Have been 3 times to this accommodation. Reduction in staff have let it down. No way a 5 star or 5 star prices. When sitting in restaurant waiting for someone to take drinks order. Lukewarm food. 5 star not
