    “Apollonia beach resort”

    The whole experience from booking to arriving home was very simple, helpful and easy with Tui team in Vienna and in Greece. The hotel was very good to the value of money. And we had an very nice overall vacation. The first one as a family of 5.

    “Not a really 5 star hotel”

    I would say that the resort experience was awful, rooms are totally different as in the photos. Rusty bathtub, moldy or maybe rotting bedframe and rooms are not sound isolated at all very isolated and bleak beach. One cannot properly sleep at night since the new guest that are arriving at night can be heard with their trolleys from a 100m away, the music at the pool is so repetitive that it reminds me of some torture methods since they repeat the same 4 songs every day 3 times a day at fixed intervals. Also, every day.. and I mean every day from 7:00 to 8:30 i had to listen to someone banging a wall or some floors in place for the whole 10 days stay.. what are you guys fixing ?! Food I would say it’s nothing to complain about, but the schedule they provide does not match what the employees do. They would start taking away the food 30 minutes earlier even if the meal window is still open so you need to think in advance and come to eat before they take away everything. The cocktails are not properly made, they either put too much alcohol in them or they put too much sugar in them. The resort is very isolated , so without a rental car one could feel quite stranded from civilization as the nearest thing would be some factory nearby.The only good part about the resort itself would be the garden that is indeed beautiful and well maintained. While the resort itself was a massive disappointment—earning a mere 0.25/5 in my book—the trip was entirely saved by Maria and Alex from the Photohotel. Their outstanding friendliness and exceptional service completely turned our vacation around. Without them, this trip would have been a total waste of money, but thanks to their efforts, I’m raising my overall rating significantly. I strongly recommend looking into other options if you're planning a trip to Crete; you will easily find far better resorts and much more beautiful beaches. However, if you do still end up at this horrible hotel, you absolutely must book a photoshoot with Maria or Alex. Their work will completely transform your trip and help you forget all about the resort's outdated, 1980s conditions.

    “Kein 5 Sterne Hotel”

    Ich möchte meine Enttäuschung über meinen Aufenthalt in Ihrem Hotel zum Ausdruck bringen. Da es sich um ein 5-Sterne-Hotel handelt, hatte ich einen entsprechend hohen Standard erwartet. Leider entsprach insbesondere das Zimmer nicht den Erwartungen. Bei meiner Ankunft war das Zimmer deutlich verschmutzt und machte insgesamt einen stark abgewohnten und renovierungsbedürftigen Eindruck. Dies ist aus meiner Sicht nicht mit dem Anspruch eines 5-Sterne-Hotels vereinbar. Zusätzlich hatte ich ausdrücklich einen Bungalow gebucht. Vor Ort stellte sich jedoch heraus, dass es sich nicht um einen freistehenden Bungalow handelte, sondern um ein zweistöckiges Gebäude mit mehreren Wohneinheiten. Die Beschreibung entsprach somit nicht meinen Erwartungen an die gebuchte Unterkunftsart.
