As I’ve already stated the hotel was ok, very clean with lovely staff in a good location but the pool area was minuscule, every day we had to leave the hotel, pay for the bus and then pay for sun loungers on the beach! I think there were about 12 sunbeds around the pool!! We didn’t think we’d have to factor in €10 a day for the bus plus €20-€30 a day for sunbeds at the beach! This was not made clear at the time of booking and there’s no way I would have booked this hotel knowing I would have to pay an extra €250 just to be able to relax in the sun!! Our room was supposed to be partial sea view but we had full on building site!

The hotel was convenient to Skiathos town, which was a good job as only one restaurant was available in the hotel and you had to book a table the night before, even though the 2 choice menu was not displayed until the following morning. So it was a good job there was lots of eating places nearby. There was no entertainment in the hotel.

TUI needs to liaise much more closely with hotel as to specific booking requirements. We were VERY annoyed & disappointed that we were not allocated twin beds from day one as this requirement was vital to our overall holiday enjoyment & we specifically stated twin beds on our TUI booking information. Hotel Manager blamed TUI for this problem.
