    We booked de luxe double room with pool view and requested a high floor. On arrival we were told no high floor rooms available but we had been upgraded to an apartment on the first floor. This double bedroom, double bathroom, double balcony accommodation was acceptable but had issues - on arrival one wardrobe sliding door was off its track and on the floor, one of the toilet seats was off its hinges and one of the bathroom basins would not hold water - all rectified by reception when reported. Half of the double balcony where the table and chairs were was covered in overgrown trees so unable to see pool when seated, other than when standing right outside main balcony door. One serious issue was that there were NO handrails to assist disabled people get themselves into the water in ANY of the hotel pools. I have balance issues and am partially sighted and had to be led by my husband every time I wanted to cool off in the pool - watched by everyone else. I was not the only person there with this problem. Also the main pool had gradiating steps which were difficult to see - maybe highlighting the edges with bright white illuminating paint would help resolve this issue. A simple solution! The poolside notice clearly said that all children under 16 must be supervised by adults, but there were several unruly children running everywhere, jumping in the pool and screaming at everything. I'm happy that kids have a great time - I've brought up my own - but not at the expense of other guests. All that said, the staff at the Hilton were all fantastic and always smiling and helpful. And the whole place was spotless!

    Rooms were large and had air-conditioning. Very large TV in 3 rooms. Service from room maids was great, they were friendly and efficient.

    As mentioned already our initial experience, when we were accommodated in the wrong room type for the first day/ night, was not a positive experience.
