    The hotel was not 5*. We had some awful meals whilst away. We had some okay ones but overall food was not good. The pool in our section was filthy and the ‘adults only’ hotel was a small section that was not worth the extra money. Especially when children were in the swim up pools within our section. Staff served drunk people who were a harassment and loud. We had bad stomachs for half the holiday, from the food or the fact glasses were washed with tap water which we were told to avoid. We both woke up with bites every morning in places not exposed during the day. The only thing we could put this down to is bed bugs. This is not a hotel we would ever return to or recommend. We overpaid for what we received which was a huge disappointment as we pushed the boat out and went for a more expensive holiday as we haven’t been for two years. We are put off the Royalton brand.

    Very poor quality hotel, food and service terrible for a 5T hotel, hideaway pool filthy- some days couldn’t see the bottom of the pool, constant dirty pool with green algae on side walls of pool, constant film on surface of the water. Food experience included mouldy bread rolls, uncooked salmon, food all pre cooked and just heated up - whilst never really served hot, this was the experience in the main à la cartel restaurant- Dorada meant exclusively for hideaway customers who pay a premium for this type of experience!! Service terrible- starters and mains served together, mains brought to table whilst still eating starters and left on table. Bread rolls brought to table at end of main meal when asked for at the beginning when first seated, service not anything like a 5T hotel would expect to receive, food terrible for 5T hotel - hideaway pool condition so may missing tiles on sides and floor, constantly dirty and green algae on sides and sun loungers in pool covered in green algae on legs etc, as well as broken sun loungers - I have some pictures of this, - these poor pool conditions and poor food probably explain the upset stomach’s we experienced and know so many other guests as well experiencing same issues- hardly a 5T - 6.5k holiday experience!! Overall extremely disappointed with the hideaway royalton experience and will not recommend or revisit. TUI need to address issues, review its 5T rating, probably pull out of hotel and know so many complaints form all customers there and after holiday. What will you do for me to compensate for this experience?

    Went to this hotel 1 year go had a fabulous holiday this time it was a nightmare from beginning to end , will need a holiday to get over it

    The hotel was a disgrace ,room stunk mouldy bread ,cold food ,raw food ,restaurants advertised not open (several) other hotel users using our restaurants as theres was getting refurbished ,black dirt around bathroom in room ,green tiles and sunbeds in the pool, ********** channel on in the sports bar and I have all photos for the mentioned to prove everything I've said
