    Food was 90% poor. What tui advertise restaurants wise to what u actually get is another matter so u have to upgrade once there at a huge amount of money

    Staff work long hours and well presented. Hard working. Always happy to help. I did find alot of the male waiters no all in the buffet restaurant talking, laughing and basically the service from them wasn t as good as the service we got from the female servers, they were excellent. Daytime entertainment was minimal i only knew about the aqua aerobics when the advrrtised it on the board by the pool. I did not know about yoga by the beach until i walked past and seen it towards my last few days there. Wasn t very well advertised. Not much for the male companion to do if there was it wasn t displayed. Grounds are well maintained, staff always doing something to the gardens. Lots of wildlife even came across a snake. Room we stayed in on top floor were spacious and clean. No lifts as this is a bit disappointing especially when you have 2 heavy suitcases but staff are always happy to help. So they deserve to be tipped.

    The accommodation and the whole Family Selection experience was genuinely incredible. We had our own Butler assigned to our villa, Leilanie, who was absolutely fantastic. She helped us with everything from dinner reservations and arranging buggies around the resort, to dry cleaning and any special requests we had. We even had a pillow menu! It really felt like nothing was too much trouble. Our room was beautiful and the level of service was something we had never experienced before. It was sometimes cleaned almost twice a day, with staff returning in the evening to prepare the room and leave little touches such as chocolates and honey to help you sleep, along with the story behind the Mayan tradition. Those small details made the experience feel really special. The resort itself is honestly breathtaking. The staff throughout were so friendly and welcoming, and we loved seeing the wildlife roaming naturally around the grounds, especially the coatis, as well as the beautiful flamingos around the lobby areas. The whole resort manages to feel luxurious and makes you truly feel like you are in Mexico. We’ve stayed in some lovely hotels over the years, but the Grand Palladium Kantenah is genuinely the most beautiful hotel we have ever stayed at. Family Selection took the experience to another level and we would return in a heartbeat.
