Very poor breakfast Rent pool towels is a nonsense

The accommodation was as we expected with a good size room (we had a triple superior room). The balcony we had requested was very small and we couldn’t both sit outside at the same time because the table took up so much room and the chairs were not easily moved, so we would’ve needed to climb into the chairs. We also had a balcony overlooking the road and it would have been beneficial to be told that there were different balcony options such as pool view garden view. We thought we had chosen a garden view but there was nothing noted apart from a balcony. I think had we had more specific information than perhaps we would’ve chosen differently. Also, when we booked the hotel was stated as being in Sirmione. This is not exactly the case as the hotel is on a main road just outside of the Sirmione area and it is a good 40 minute walk into the town. This wasn’t a particular problem as there is a shuttle bus that runs frequently but we would’ve preferred to have been told about this when we booked. We were sent a message sometime after we booked (a few months later) informing us that it wasn’t as close as stated, which is fair, but by then it seemed far too exhausting to look through everything again. We also felt that we paid a lot of money for the accommodation so it would be a good place anyway. The pool was really nice and well maintained and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
