    The accommodation is spotlessly clean. Bedrooms are serviced daily. Hotel is very peaceful. The staff are very good and helpful. The outdoor pool is gorgeous, lots of sunbeds around the pool and around the attractive gardens, where there are trees providing shade as well as sunny areas. But the evening meal food is poor quality and poor choice. There are now fewer choices than previous years. We do not go on holiday to a four star hotel to have tasteless cottage pie five days a week, made with packet potato mix, covered in some form of cheese that has been over cooked on the top, looking very similar in colour to the macaroni cheese option that was there every night, the slimy lasagne that also had no taste. There was plain boiled rice, packet sloppy mashed potato, overcooked peas and carrots that ended up the following day mixed with some form of mayonnaise on the mixed salads counter. There were considerably fewer dessert choices, the bread rolls were dry, some of the soup offered was tasteless. I could go on, but it was very very disappointing, and many other guests were surprised at the low quality of the food. There was a member of staff grilling very small portions of chicken fillet or fish, which was probably the freshest option in the evenings, but we don’t want to eat the same for all seven nights we stayed. The menu choices and the chefs cooking skills seriously need looking into and improving. The evening meals spoilt what was otherwise a very clean relaxing holiday.

    Hotel room 307 needs some attention regarding over the winter water damage. Also there is no door handle on the outside of the patio door!

    The hotel need more staff not enough umbrellas by the pool It’s a good hotel but it’s not 5* I would rate it a 3plus
