The hotel we’ve visited has excellent hard working staff but the management is extremely poor. I have for numerous years requested a short meeting with the manager concerning serious issues. This year was appalling around and in the pools. There is no lifeguard at any time plus smoking is permitted everywhere in the hotel apart from the restaurant. Several days women would undress around the pool in full view of everyone. Despite reporting this nothing was done and the manager failed to take action. In desperation I took photos of the woman not staying at the hotel undressed. A further photo I sent the manager of another woman washing her clothes in the hotel toilet and then spreading the underwear around the pool chairs and tables to dry. I sent the manager a photo to prove my point about people entering the hotel premises when guests clothes and possessions were at risk. Nothing happened to correct this plus I wanted to show the manager dangerous pavements within the hotel but he wouldn’t meet me. Smoking is rife even during the nightly shows which we had to leave several times because of guests smoking at next tables.we’ve stayed at this hotel many times in our 30 visits to Corfu but TUI needs to inspect the hotel completely and I feel needs removing from their future plans for English guests? I was shown by a senior Welsh guest who was an engineer at Welsh Water. He claimed that hotel sewerage was not working correctly on the day he showed me and again I wanted to discuss this vital processes with the manager to help him understand from experts how it should work. The food at the hotel is poor despite the hardworking staff doing their best. Reviews indicate the issue. The hotel is immaculately clean with their staff working very hard to avoid diseases. My wife was ill while on holiday but nothing to do with hotel more from smoking and the air conditioning? Rooms are clean with regular change of bedding and many towels changed daily. Years ago the guests were predominantly from the UK but this has changed and we are now being dominated by Eastern European people. There are lots of sunbeds needed to protect from the constant heat but to get one round the pool an early visit to claim one’s beds are needed. Despite signs about not reserving beds this is ignored but hundreds of people and not policed with nobody from the hotel stopping them. The restaurant has a dress code not being adhered to with the worst example a guy straight from swimming in the sea appearing in swimming trunks and a red towel around his torso. The dress code of many ladies are not for a restaurant particularly the way they appear each morning. The manager needs to take action and start managing the failing hotel.

Very good sized rooms. Good choice of food in the restaurant at both breakfast and dinner.

Staff all friendly, including the housekeeping staff. Rooms and hotel were clean. Dog friendly which I loved, helped me to miss my dogs less while on holiday. Plenty of sunbeds available most of the time and the hotel don't allow people to reserve beds prior to 8am, good idea! Buffet food was good but not 4* quality, not 3* either, maybe somewhere in between! I recommend the hotel considers including more plain meat options as there was a lot of saucy meat dishes but lots of guests including us 3 as a family prefer to add sauces ourselves. I would also highly recommend they include a grill station for meat to be cooked in front of the guests so it's served fresh. I was also disappointed that the espresso/coffee machine and juice machines were only open at breakfast time. Many travellers don't drink alcohol so this should be an immediate consideration. It's unfair for us to have to go to the all inclusive bar outside to get drinks before or during our meal. I think the hotel should have more sauces on the side such as sweet chilli, tobasco, BBQ or similar; there was only mustard, ketchup and mayonnaise. Late checkout option whilst subject to availability was fantastic and less stress for end of trip for a small cost. Overall a great hotel right next to the beach with watersports nearby (extra charge).
