The select club we stayed within was fantastic. Great staff, great rooms, great pool.

UK family review – 5/10. More 4⭐ than 5⭐ We stayed 6 nights as a family from the UK. Overall the holiday was OK, but I would rate the hotel 5/10 and more like a 4-star resort than a true 5-star. It has huge potential but needs to listen to guest feedback and modernise. The hotel is around 1hr+ from Antalya Airport, longer with shared transfers as you'll stop at other hotels. We arrived around 9:30pm and thankfully caught dinner. The room was good and the resort was clean and well maintained, but we had no towels until the next morning and the shower pressure was terrible – literally a trickle throughout our stay. The hotel seems mainly geared towards German/Russian guests, with many announcements/TV options in German despite lots of British guests. More English-speaking/bilingual staff would help. Entertainment was mixed. Kids' shows are mainly for under 8s. Ethiopian dancers, Pirates, beach foam party and especially the Cuban singers were good, but several other shows were dull and Turkish Night was poor. After 11pm there's an outdoor disco which could be brilliant, but the DJ played hours of repetitive dance/trance music and on another night mainly Turkish music. Guests requested hip-hop, R&B, reggaeton and international music but were ignored. People were literally sitting around bored. They have the facilities but need people focused on what guests actually want. Food was average, but food preparation concerned me. On several occasions grilled meat/chicken appeared undercooked and I had stomach discomfort 3 times. I once cut into chicken that was visibly raw/********** inside. Staff simply threw it away and offered another piece. Other guests told me they'd experienced similar. Guests shouldn't have to inspect every piece of chicken before eating. Another unnecessary frustration is drinks. Instead of self-service soft drinks, you regularly queue for staff to pour one Coke/lemonade at a time. Install self-service machines – quicker for guests and probably cheaper for the hotel. The beach and pier were nice. It's gritty/pebbly rather than sandy but the setup and sea were enjoyable. Hotel shops were also useful and fairly priced. For an expensive all-inclusive, too many extras cost money. Ice cream outside before around 4pm was chargeable, even at lunchtime in blazing heat when children naturally want one. The arcade also costs extra. I've stayed at other 5-star family resorts where much more is included. ⚠️ BIGGEST WARNING FOR FAMILIES – WATERPARK: This was our number 1 complaint. Most waterparks use height restrictions, but here the larger slides also have a 10+ age restriction. A child can meet the height requirement but still be refused because they're under 10, even with a parent supervising. Younger children were effectively limited to around 3 slides. If you're booking because the photos show a huge waterpark, CHECK THIS BEFORE BOOKING. The hotel/holiday companies should advertise the age restrictions clearly because families may arrive expecting their children to use the slides and discover they can't. Some lifeguards were also rude/uninterested. More seriously, I personally witnessed a guest bring alcoholic drinks to lifeguards who crouched down upstairs to drink them out of sight. Management should take that extremely seriously. POSITIVES: Great weather, attractive resort, clean/well-kept grounds, nice beach/pier, lots of facilities and some good entertainment. Overall, Turan Prince World has 5-star facilities but around 4-star execution. Better food controls, waterpark policies, self-service drinks, fewer paid extras, improved English communication and better entertainment could transform it. 5/10 – an OK family holiday, but not the 5-star experience I expected.
