Lack of basic cleaning.

I like staying at Caybeach Sun as it is self catering. I come to visit family and spend a lot of time with them. The accommodation is very basic (expect that at the price) and a bit shabby but the shower was good although the bathroom smelt of sewage all the time. The bed was comfortable. Overall you get what you pay for.

Self catering apartment was great apart from cooking facilities. Just a microwave and a two ring hob, which took over an hour to cook 2 boiled eggs. Perhaps they should have provided an air fryer in each room. (One family actually went out and bought one!)

It's a good budget option. Reception staff weren't the most helpful or friendly, they seemed reluctant to assist customers. I didn't have a terrible experience but I observed some unhelpful behaviour and wouldn't say I ever felt welcomed by them. Room was clean, and beds were comfy but the balcony wasn't private as you could see other people quite close by but not a problem if you don't mind that. Location was close enough to the beach and the restaurants and shops. I don't recommend the hotel breakfast though.
