    “Catalonia Bavaro Beach resort”

Eten matig. Geen aanrader !!!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the resort. The location was beautiful, the staff were friendly and the all-inclusive experience was convenient and relaxing. The room was comfortable and cleaned regularly. One area that could be improved is the communication around maintenance and facilities, as some areas of the resort were closed or being renovated during our stay. More information about this beforehand would have been appreciated.

We paid for Privileged accommodation but were initially told that we had not booked it. * The first room was old, dirty and in an unacceptable condition. * We had to change rooms, but the replacement room still had cleanliness problems and the air conditioning did not work properly. * The advertised Spanish à la carte restaurant was not available. * The advertised fresh juice bar was not available. * Six bars were advertised, but only five were operating, with one being adults-only and therefore unavailable to our family. * There was no darts facility. * There was no bike hire. * The children’s mini-disco was either unavailable or extremely limited, sometimes consisting of only a few songs. * Daytime entertainment was extremely limited and the entertainment team was largely absent. * The buffet food was highly repetitive throughout our stay. * The room minibar was not replenished as expected. * There were consistently long queues at reception and we found the staff unhelpful. * We were repeatedly approached around the hotel by people trying to sell excursions and other products.
