“Top accommodatie”

Alles was top! Er was alleen in het gedeelte waar wij zaten geen airco. Dat wisten we! Maar de temperaturen waren zo hoog, ook ‘s-nachts, dat een airco echt nodig was. Dus geen enkele klacht. Alles was zeer goed geregeld en een mooie accommodatie met ook nog eens zeer fijn personeel, complimenten. Een auto is aan te bevelen. Alles bij elkaar een echte aanrader dus!

The accommodation was about 3km’s from the beach /resort, we knew this when we booked and quite enjoyed the walk. Taxi’s were between €4.50 - 7.00 each way depending on time of day. Hotel complex is beautiful, we asked for a quiet room which overlooked the golf course. We had noisy neighbours that didn’t like being asked to turn their music down, but having been asked twice by different people that got the message. Not the hotels fault. Bungalows, are not bungalows as they have a bedroom and bathroom upstairs. Again we knew this when booking so not a problem. Everything you need if you wished to self cater. We stayed for B&B. Beds were comfortable, had the fan on low over night with the balcony door and window open. Worked a treat. Breakfast was both continental and a nod to an English breakfast. Fresh & tinned fruit, nuts, seeds and vibrant looking youghart (we gave that a miss!). Freshly cooked omelette or friend eggs while you wait, along with usual accompaniments & interesting array of vegetables. Bread, pastry’s, cereals, cheese, salad and probably more. Only down side is no fresh semi skimmed milk. Took our own into breakfast with our own caffietier. Popped into see the evening buffet but I am not a fan, too many different smells, over riding garlic smell (husband in intolerant to garlic) and to me unappetising looking food. We didn’t try it, therefor this is subjective. Took as a while to get the feel of Masplomas, lots of hidden shopping areas and restaurants which we discovered with more walking over the week. Beautiful clean beach next to the sand dunes which stretches for miles. Fantastic Italian restaurant overlooking the beach - we eat there 5 nights it was so good. Supermarket less than 10 mins walk away (across the waste lane, follow the path to the road, turn right onto the road and then left towards the shopping centre which is signposted) The outlook is not great but its safe. Restaurant in the centre of the circle does good steaks & Sunday nights entertainment was good. Overall it was a great holiday. We are a couple in our 60’s and it suited us down to the ground.
