We were really disappointed with our stay at this hotel, particularly with the overall standard of the accommodation and the level of service. The hotel itself is very tired and dated. The furniture and décor throughout look worn and in need of significant updating. Although the hotel is advertised as being family-friendly, we found it to be very unfriendly for families with buggies or young children, with no lifts and stairs required in numerous areas of the hotel. When we arrived at our apartment, we were immediately disappointed with the condition and décor. We then discovered a substantial leak coming from the toilet, which left a large puddle of water on the bathroom floor. We also found that the shower doors were broken and, in our opinion, unsafe for small children. The air conditioning was not working properly either. The TV was also locked, meaning we couldn't connect our own Fire Stick. There were only four channels available, none of which were in English. When we asked reception if the TV could be unlocked, we felt that our request was largely dismissed rather than being dealt with. We complained about the toilet leak several times during the first few days of our holiday. It took three visits from maintenance before anything was resolved, and ultimately my partner had to become quite frustrated before we were offered a different room. The second room was slightly better in that there was no leak and the shower was safer and more accessible. However, the air conditioning was still not working properly. Once again, we had to make multiple calls to reception and have maintenance visit on three separate occasions before the issue was finally fixed. As if this wasn't enough, on another evening we returned to our room from the pool expecting to shower and get ready for the evening, only to discover that there was no hot water. We contacted reception and were told that there was a hotel-wide issue with the hot water. This meant that we, and presumably other guests throughout the hotel, were unable to have a proper hot shower that evening. While we appreciate that unexpected problems can happen, it was yet another significant inconvenience during our stay and added to our overall frustration with the standard of maintenance and service. Unfortunately, we also had a cockroach in our room during our stay, which added to our concerns about the overall standard of the accommodation. The pool area also needs considerable attention. It appeared poorly maintained, with very little staff presence around the pool. Guests would leave rubbish and used cups around the pool area and these were often left there. Many of the sunbeds were broken or damaged, and there was a noticeable lack of umbrellas, particularly around the baby pool area. For a hotel marketed towards families, this was particularly disappointing. We stayed all-inclusive. The drinks selection was adequate and the bar staff were consistently friendly and pleasant, which was one of the positives of our stay. Unfortunately, we found the food very basic, bland and repetitive. Breakfast, lunch and dinner seemed to offer very similar choices each day, and some of the dishes were not particularly appealing to us, such as roasted pig's foot and goat stew. We appreciate that food preferences are subjective, but we felt there was very little variety. One issue that particularly concerned us was the labelling of food on the buffet. The display cards were frequently mixed up or positioned next to the wrong dishes. This is more than just an inconvenience — it could potentially be a serious issue for guests with food allergies, who rely on accurate information when choosing what to eat. One of the biggest positives of the hotel was the animation team. They were fantastic with the children, friendly, enthusiastic and clearly doing their best with the resources available to them. They deserve recognition for the effort they put into entertaining and engaging with the kids. Overall, however, we left feeling very disappointed. We understand that this is not a luxury hotel and weren't expecting five-star accommodation, but we did expect a reasonable standard of maintenance, cleanliness, facilities and customer service. Having to repeatedly chase basic issues such as a leaking toilet, broken air conditioning and a lack of hot water significantly impacted our holiday. For us, the biggest issue wasn't that things went wrong — problems can happen in any hotel — it was the length of time it took to resolve them and the amount of effort required from us to get them addressed. Based on our experience, we feel the hotel needs significant investment in its rooms, pool facilities and general maintenance, as well as improvements in how guest complaints and maintenance issues are handled.

only 1 thing i would add is opening both bars so kids dont have to walk as far to grab a drink.

Food terrible. One person serving drinks at the bar for the entire hotel. Numerous items stolen. No sunbeds available throughout two weeks as towels left on beds day after day.
