    Rooms are pleasant. But no facilities to make a hot drink, which was very disappointing. Large showers, always hot water. When we arrived at 02:30am the staff in reception gave us no information. He drew a circle on a map stated this is where you are, this is your room & there’s the restaurant. We got to our room and needed a drink of water. Checked the fridge nothing in there. Went to the bar asked for a drink, got told to go to reception to purchase a token which was 1 euro to go back to the bar so that they could put a drink in a plastic cup! None of the bars will serve you a drink unless you have been to reception and got your drinks token. In the morning we found a couple of the pools. Half term so was busy. We found the pool which was the furthest from the main hotel. All was good until the lifeguard started walking around with a large metal stand telling people to stop talking! I get having a quiet pool, but this was a silent pool. If you talked the lifeguard’s would blow their whistles at you and start shouting telling people to stop talking!! Lots of people moved to the other pools where you can talk without being shouted at! If you smoke then you can’t around the pools. They have a designated smoking area for you to huddle together. The two guys that do all the exercise in the pool were amazing! Really fun and got people involved. Never saw our Tui rep. Wasn’t informed when and where the welcome meeting was, or even if there was one. There is nothing around the hotel, the nearest shop is a 10 min walk. Best to get the bus into Porta Cristo & Cala Bona which we did. Hop on the bus at the bottom of drive, just tap your debit card when you get on and tap your card when you get off, cheaper than paying by cash and even cheaper if you use the bus multiple times.. The food was good. You could always have pizza, chips, pasta, lasagne, salad & bread. Kids food also had lots of choices. Sun beds were always available, so no need to get up at 5am! Evening entertainment was good they always put on a good show. Plenty of places to sit and watch all the acts upon the stage, which is outside. There was very few English people at this hotel. It seemed more German, Russian & French. We stayed for 10 days and only heard a small handful of people speaking English.

    There was a lot of steps and walking. At our age it was quite challenging at times. Next holiday we would do more research and go somewhere more flatter.

    “Urlaub wie zu Hause”

    Wir fahren seit 30 Jahren ins Blau Punta Reina Resort und das zeigt schon wie zufrieden wir sind. Wenn wir gefragt werden, wo es im Urlaub hingeht, sagen wir immer, wir fahren nach Hause.

    “Super hotel, mits enkele verbeteringen”

    De ligging, de accommodatie, het onthaal, de bedden, Allemaal top. Wat voor ons beter kan: - roken kan nog op plekken die voor mij niet kunnen: op de terrassen van de kamers, op de hoeken van de zwembaden, op de terassen van de bars. Voorzie rookplekken die verder van de publieke of prive zones liggen. - ontbijt is top, maar de kwaliteit van het avond-eten moet echt beter. De producten zoals pasta, sauzen, vlees, fruit moeten van hogere kwaliteit - lawaai: er draait een enorm luide airco/generator aan het hoofdgebouw, dag en nacht. Ook opletten dat je tegen het lawaai van een restaurant kan, vol kinderen (schreeuwen, roepen, lopen) en een luidruchtig personeel (kletterende borden en glazen bij het afruimen). Kan je hier niet tegen, dan neem je best geen half pension of all-in.

    “Super Familienhotel”

    Das Hotel bietet alles für einen rundum sorglosen Familienurlaub. Für jeden ist etwas dabei ob Entspannung oder Aktivitäten für groß und klein. Unsere Kinder haben sich sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Familienzimmer waren sauber leider nur etwas wenig Schränke. Das Essen war abwechslungsreich. Das Personal war immer nett und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
