“Heerlijk verblijf”

Voor de vijfde maal hier verbleven en met de gedane aanpassingen nog beter geworden.

“Geen 4 sterren hotel voor Nederlandse begrippen”

Personeel aan de receptie van het hotel zonder enige servicegerichtheid. Het interieur van het hotel was best geantidateerd. Ontbijtbuffet daarintegen goed en er was veel variatie.

This was the first time for us staying at the Hotel Siroco. We asked to move rooms on the first night as we were out on floor 5 right at the back of the hotel in a corner which just felt out of the way and very quiet. The view was of some dustbins and someone’s back garden. We asked to change room and the receptionist was able to find us one on floor 2 which we were grateful for. The bath had a big chip in which you had to be careful of when standing in the shower to make sure you didn’t cut your foot. The air con unit which was above the bed was leaking and trickling down the wall. The wooden flooring in the first room we were in had a big chunk missing. The general cleanliness of the hotel wasn’t great, there were a lot of leaks and the bottom of the pool felt as though there was layer of sand. The hotel staff weren’t very bubbly, they didn’t really smile it felt quite forced from them. I understand they’re at work however people have paid a lot of money for their holiday and they at least expect a smile when you walk into the hotel. I can’t comment on the food as we were room only but the drinks were nice and the entertainment was good!

Room was not as picture - i paid for an upgrade - view from the room was fabulous but the room was very dated and some areas of the room were neglected from a cleaning point of view. There was small lizard in my room and asked for it to be removed, waited over an hour, called reception to ask again, told they'd send someone straight away - waited another 45mins and gave up waiting, not sure if me and the lizard shared a room for the rest of the week!!!! Would have been nice of the hotel to up date me when/if they went into room and removed it.
