Second time at the Anna Maria. Lovely accommodation with wonderful, truly brilliant family run staff. As we were visiting for the second time, Thomas, the owner, remembered us and upgraded our room for us which was lovely.

The staff at Anna Maria Paradise Hotel were amazing

The Anna Maria paradise is a nice modern hotel, with a great pool(s) area. Its location is a comfortable level stroll to both Pefkochori and Hanioti. However, when we arrived at the hotel, we were offered (supposedly) a free upgrade which was not suitable due to having an opaque bathroom door, nor did we get to see a room (superior double with GV) we had booked to compare. We were then offered and accepted a room (10 Euros/day extra cost) which on reflection seemed to be what we originally booked but with a king size bed. This room had its faults though; the safe was damaged and unusable, the shower had no door or curtain, the shower head holder and a towel hook were not securely fixed. Breakfast is very nice, but for the majority of the holiday only one coffee machine (of two) was working (coffee not nice) and the toaster was broken. We had three dinners whilst there and these were average at best. Just niggly things, I admit, but these little let downs detract from what is a very nice 3 Star accommodation. All the staff are great, welcoming and diligent.
