    My sister and myself arrived at Alua Sol Menorca Friday 26th June for the start of a much needed holiday and were informed by the hotel receptionist that all inclusive was no longer available at the hotel, and no longer an option for booking throughout the summer. We were advised that TUI should have contacted us to confirm this change in our booking and give us the option of amending either to the Half Board package, or change the complete booking to a seperate hotel that met our needs and expectations. I am unable to locate any email communication from TUI to advise of this and was very surprised that the hotel no longer offers this during warm summer months. What reason is behind this decision? We were given the option of having lunch at the sister hotel approx 5-10 mins walk , uphill , which in 30 degree heat is not an acceptable alternative for anyone expecting all inclusive at an adults only hotel. We therefore had to buy our own lunch for the week , when in reality we had already paid for it. I am extremely disappointed with both TUI and the Alua Sol to believe it would be acceptable to ask all inclusive customers to eat lunch off site. It was my 60th birthday last week and although the hotel made my overall stay very pleasant and comfortable, it was not all inclusive as expected and advertised on the TUI website and put a dampener on the celebrations Did TUI sent out an email communication to those booked at the resort to advise them on the changes? and if so, please provide a copy issued to myself. Both my sister and I are seeking compensation from TUI for the monetary difference of half board booking and all inclusive for the week of our stay, in addition to recompense for the disappointment of not experiencing the full service this hotel has previously offered.     Lovely little hotel right on the beach. The staff are super friendly and accommodating and speak a range of languages from Spanish, English, French and German. Not all of the rooms are accessibility friendly as there are a lot of internal stairs in the hallways, but the hotel overall has lots of ramps and I’m sure would be able to accommodate for low mobility - the swimming pool even has a chair lift to help people into the pool where needed. The cocktails are delicious and the vibe is very relaxing, perfect if you want a little getaway to sit by the pool and just chill.

    Food wasn't great, ate out instead of using it a few times, drinks were very expensive , but prices also fluctuated across the bars too. Some staff were extremely rude and grumpy.

    “Enttäuschung”

    Ja wir haben uns gefreut auf den Urlaub und auch das Hotel …. Bin total enttäuscht vom Hotel wie man mit Stammkunden umgeht….. und es hat sich zum negativen entwickelt….. wir werden nicht mehr in das Hotel gehen …… Schade
