    Although the hotel was excellent, it's beach is very rocky. It would have been nice to have a bit more evening entertainment

    The hotel Alexandra was very nice as an accommodation, the rooms, bathrooms, receptions were faultless. The fact the hotel grows its on fruit, veg and herbs is great. We upgraded before we left to All Inclusive, this was a toral waste of time & money! Drinks were limited i.e. a choice of only 4 cocktails, very poor and cheap choice of mixers. Milkshakes were not included either, yet coffees and Frappes were!!?! On the first day we were told we were to use the 'Taverna' for lunch, this was very nice. It would have been nice to use this more throughout the week, but it was a 'once per week use'. The Taverna was never full, somedays empty which was a shame. This should be a benefit of being all inclusive. Lunch in the restaurant was awful, very very poor choice, we used the pool bar for this instead. Evening meals were not great, very hit or miss. Nothing was appertising, we ate out more than in, not great for a 4* hotel! I even had a large bug in my lettuce. Not good! The spa was ridiculously expensive. Also use of the sister hotel on the complex would have been a nice All Inclusive benefit, even if to use the restaurant once on a week as in other hotels. The pool and sunbeds at the beach for this hotel were always very quiet throughout the stay.
