Positives: The hotel itself is lovely and very modern. Staff were great, so helpful and friendly and a credit to the hotel. They all work so hard and respond quickly to any requests or issues. Nothing is an issue for them. We had a Junior suite with hottub and it was lovely. Room was very clean and modern. Negatives: The food in restaurant was very poor. For a 4 star, it lacked variety and it was basically the same stuff every day. Not a great selection: very little Greek food too. They really need to review their menu and look at other 4 star hotel restaurants and really up their game. Also the drink selection in here was terrible, juice and wine from tap and that was all. Could be so much better. I’ve been to many 4 start hotels both in Greece and other destinations and this was the worst for both food and drink. Drinks: alcoholic drinks are very basic and not great. Pre mixed basic cocktails that were like juice and unlike other 4 star hotels which do a variety of amazing cocktails including frozen ones this was probably one of the worst 4 star hotels I’ve stayed in for the selection of drinks. No Prosecco. No variety of beer. Also plastic drink cups are very small so you were constantly at bar. Coffee machine: only basic coffee, latte or cappuccino selection should be an option also. Snack bar: pizza was amazing and it was freshly made, however you could only eat at snack bar as they only provided china plates so couldn’t take to sunbeds and other than pizza it was the same spaghetti and bolognese sauce every day the same as restaurant. Most snacks bars in hotel have a variety of snacks including burgers wraps etc. Also you had to get a drink from bar to take to snack bar. Again this could be much better. All inclusive time: the all inclusive finishes at 11pm. With nothing around the hotel to go to bar a couple of bars & looking at other hotels near the hotel I think it should be at least 12am for the bar. Entertainment: Willie is amazing and does an amazing job, he speaks to every guest and is hilarious and really works hard. Credit to the hotel. Entertainment at night could be a lot better with better shows on. Swim up rooms and hot tub rooms: these are beautiful however I feel there needs to be another bar or drinks service to room for you to benefit from the all inclusive especially in the swim up rooms as they are out the way. Overall we had a lovely stay but it is very out the way and I think that needs to be advertised more as when you look at google maps it looks like there is quite a few things around you but these are restaurants within other hotels. For the price you pay for this hotel (we got a last min deal) but speaking to others who paid double to what we paid there should be a much better food and drinks selection without a doubt. I believe because of this it should only be a 3 star. The hotel could be the most amazing hotel with a change to the food and drink and all inclusive programme. If they did this then it would be the perfect stay.
