Hotelkonzept-Kriterien
We booked to stay at the TUI BLUE Tarida Beach resort and the place was very clean, tidy and the views were amazing. As it was our 40th Birthdays last October we decided to upgrade our room to an Adult's Area Swim-up Double Room with Pool View and Terrace from the standard room that we was quoted for. When we arrived there was a problem with our air conditioning, it was not cold. We reported this straight away on the Wednesday to reception as I have sevear asthma and struggle with my breathing in the heat and was advised that an engineer will be round. Thursday morning no one had been over, so reported it again, we then went back later in the day on Thursday and was told again someone would be over. Friday we had the wedding, and by then I was very uncomfortable with the heat, had a few sleepless nights as-well as my partner so we went to the Tui Reps on resort to complain that nothing had been done after our 4th time reporting it to the front desk. Still no update on Friday and as we was away form the resort till late evening we was not able to catch the reps before they left for the day. We again went over on Friday and the TUI rep got reception to get onto maintenance and an engineer was sent over. The air conditioning could not be fixed, so we were offered to move from room 102 to room 120. Still a swim up adult only room and local to our family & friends. So we packed up the room and moved on Saturday Afternoon. This room also had no air conditioning so again we complained and on the Sunday they told us there there was an issue with the whole block we was in and that we needed to be moved again. I was very fed up at this point, so I asked to see the rooms before moving again as did not want to be moved too far away firstly as our family were very near, also we asked for a adult only area so did not want to be around loads of children. The first room was a family area swim up pool. Too overcrowded with families and children and on the completely other side of the resort, too far away from our family. The second one was a upgrade to a rooftop jacuzzi room, but was up 4 floors with no lifts, the furthest away from our family and restaurants beach etc and the steps up to the rooftop very steep and was not suitable with my asthma. I went back and asked if there was any other alternative rooms nearer to our family as both were unsuitable. I was advised there was none. I even asked for a downgraded room near to family and was advised there was none near the family. I then asked to be kept in the room we got moved to with a fan and asked for a refund of the difference of the standard room we originally was quoted for verses the difference for the upgraded swim up adult only room. This was a difference of £400. The guest services lady called Stephania She said she needed to speak to the manager and then told me that they can’t offer a refund and that I need to speak with TUI. They did offer a complementary meal in the Ala carte restaurant which we accepted and was also offered a spa day or a double cabina sun bed, both of which we did not accept. I then submitted a complaint online via TUI website and also spoke to the TUI rep n resort on the Monday. I was then offered £150 refund, but I said I paid £400 for the upgrade, they said the maximum they could offer was £200. I was not happy with this, but accepted due to the extreme hassle this made to our holiday. It completely ruined our trip. I was offered the refund on Monday and then got some sad news that my grandmother had passed away that day. I then got a call in the evening to ask if I wanted to be moved room to a downgraded room on Tuesday morning as someone in our party was leaving and was offering us their room. By this point I just wanted to get home so refused the move and we stayed where we was with a fan. This really affected our whole holiday, and despite the air con this would have been a fantastic stay.
Show moreGreat hotel, lots of energy and good vibes
Show moreThe accommodation was brilliant. It’s the 3rd time we’ve been to this resort and we’ve never been disappointed. The entertainment for children was ok with the kids disco taking place most evenings, it would have been good to mix it up a little. Fortunately the facilities more than made up for this and left plenty for my family to do and keep entertained. The only other issue was the checking in process. As we arrived early (approx 11AM) we had to wait to have access to our room whereas others could go straight in, it would be good to have a warning that this may be the case during the booking process.
Show moreCould not fault the accommodation, it was brilliant. Just didn't like the kids and entertainment. Everything else was fantastic.
Show moreAccomodation is clean and we had a swimup room which was an added bonus. The room cleaned daily and clean towels and beds made, sheets change. Bright and airy. Some of the accomodation have a separate bedroom.
