    The hotel is getting a bit tired. It’s dismal on the outside and needs decorating. Beds are terribly uncomfortable

    We were so happy with the hotel and the room. The views were spectacular, the pools were very clean and well maintained. We also had a lovely patio with a cactus and it was lovely to have some outside space.

    A fantastic experience for our Honeymoon. The hotel staff were superb, the food was delicious, the reps were excellent and the excursions were fantastic. The TUI Blue Nastro Azzurro hotel in Sorrento was a strong 4 star and we felt that with a couple of minor tweaks it would easily be a 5. The service was brilliant. A couple of updates and a little further investment to the hotel could elevate the experience further. Upgrading all the bathrooms to match those advertised on the website/app, replacing sun loungers/parasols, and maintaining the Aircon in the room (as rather loud and slight damp smell) could be considerations. However to reiterate - the staff, food, service, trips, reps, and experience were superb. Thank you.

    I returned to this hotel after 9 years with very fond memories. It was devastating to see it in such a dilapidated state. *Maintenance & Safety:* The wood around the pool is rotting and dangerous. A decking plank came loose exposing screws. Myself and 2 other guests reported it and 2 days later it still wasn’t fixed it took us leaving it on the bar for it to be sorted within an hour. It was a 2 minute job. The pool water was green like pea soup for most of our 2 week stay. We only saw chemicals added once and never saw the water tested. The poolside shower area has broken slabs in stagnant water, which is a breeding ground for mosquitoes — many guests were badly bitten. There are ants everywhere, and the pool toilets were filthy with a mouldy curtain. *Grounds:* The wooded area that was once so beautiful with lovely seating areas has now been left to rot. All the seating is dirty with green mould. The hydropools were out of service for the full two weeks. We used to love sitting in the woods with a bottle of wine escaping the midday heat, and it’s really sad to see it so neglected. *Service & Food:* The hotel is massively understaffed. The majority of staff are lovely but they are run off their feet. We had 45 minute waits for drinks. There were huge queues for dinner because the Maître d' won’t seat tables even when empty due to lack of waiters. The food was mostly overcooked and drinks were poor quality. *The best part:* The complimentary courtesy bus into Sorrento. It meant we could go out most days for edible food and decent drinks. *TUI Representation:* Most TUI Blue reps try their best given the circumstances. However Ricardo was regularly at the bar in the evenings and appeared to be socialising rather than working. We also witnessed him kissing a guest in public areas of what is marketed as an upmarket adults-only hotel in Sorrento. We found this very unprofessional and not what we expected from a Tui blue rep. Activities were often cancelled with him saying “no one is interested” without even asking guests. We only had a good holiday because of the people we met and being able to get out. It’s really sad because the location is beautiful, but the hotel feels completely unloved. Urgent investment in maintenance, cleaning and staffing is needed.

    We got a beautiful room. Huge bed, lovely shower. Air con. It was cleaned and spotless every single day. Breakfast and lunch was excellent for a hotel that was serving such a large number of folks. Evening meal was OK. It wasnt great especially in the set menu days. But we definitely did not leave the accommodation hungry!
