    3 snacks were great, just needed some fruit as an option as well Booked a late check out because we had a late flight, we had to change rooms so the hotel could accommodate our late check, not ideal with 2 small children

    I never write reviews or make comments, but I felt this hotel deserved some constructive feedback rather than just the negative Nellies! I’m writing this mainly to reassure anyone who has booked or is thinking of booking — don’t be worried about this hotel! We’ve just returned from Leonardo, and honestly, we had a fantastic family holiday. Food: The food was fab. I really don’t know what people expect from a 4* family hotel. Obviously, they’re not going to be serving fillet steak and caviar every night 😂 God knows what some people are eating at home — maybe they have their own personal chef! Breakfast was the same every day, but there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. Lunch and dinner were different each day, and the à la carte restaurants were lovely — if anything, there was too much food! The worst thing we could say was that the beans were slightly cold on two occasions. Hardly a holiday disaster! Drinks: Average, but again, we’re not sitting in a vineyard in Provence! 😂 The kids absolutely loved the unlimited slushies, which was a massive win for them. Pools & Aqua Park: Fantastic. The pool entertainment was so much fun, and the aqua park was epic. One ride wasn’t operating while we were there, but there was still loads to enjoy. The beach is rocky and the sea is salty — not sure what else anyone was expecting there! 😂 Entertainment & Facilities: The evening entertainment was okay. But honestly, do people expect the West End in a family resort?! The hotel also had a pool table, which was great fun, and a cinema, which was a lovely added bonus. Rooms: We’re a family of five, so we booked two rooms. I requested interconnecting rooms and they gave us exactly that — and even better, we had a sea view. We couldn’t have asked for more. And finally, the staff. Every single member of staff we came across was superb — helpful, polite, friendly and genuinely lovely. Overall, we had a brilliant holiday and would absolutely return. So if you’ve booked Leonardo and have been worrying because of some of the negative reviews, please don’t! Go, enjoy yourselves, and remember you’re going on a family holiday, not checking into a Michelin-starred restaurant or a five-star luxury resort. We loved it ❤️

    Accommodation was nice with the only issue being the lifts, they were too small and therefore there was often a lot of waiting around trying to return to our room with a mobility buggy
